Hi;I'm taking my almost 4 year old daughter to DL in March. She loves princesses so we've booked a session at bbb. Can anyone share your experiences please? People keep telling me that they've heard that the child gets to choose which princess to dress up in. But I see no mention of that on the bbb page. I want to know as much as possible about it before hand. She's booked for the basic package. Thanks,Barb

There is a set of 3 or 4 hairstyles that a child can choose from, but none are any specific princess. You can bring your own dress for your child to dress up in, or purchase one there. If you purchase the most expensive package, your child will have special photos taken after the makeover. If you have PP+, they do photos throughout the makeover. But you are responsible for purchasing or providing your own dress to wear. This picture of my daughter is from the mid-priced package.

There's several different packages, one that includes the dress and several that don't, just hair and nails. So you would need to see which one you booked, I was checking prices this week for this summer and I think the one with the dress was around $200.

I think $69. I can't remember with 100% certainty, but I think that's what we paid for our Anna coronation dress in November. They're $49 at Disney Store but not exactly the same.

It was $69, I believe, when we bought DD's Cinderella dress a few weeks ago. It's beautiful, but holy man, the sparkles were literally everywhere!

We are going on a 3 day trip to Disneyland in Februrary. It's our first time ever going to Disneyland ever-me, hubby, and 4 year old. Is BBB something we should try or just focus on the rides? If we do the BBB what day out of the three do you recommend for going for first timers? I feel like there is so much to see and I don't want to miss anything. I was looking at the Castle Package where the girls can take pictures with the princesses.

I have the same question... Do they do pre park opening appts like I believe they do at Disney World? (I could totally be wrong about that but I thought I've read on here about people getting into the park early at WDW for BBB.)

If you google Bibbity Bobbity Boutique there are lots of posts with the brochure included.

There are basically 3 packages
1 with hair do/make up
1 with hair do/make up/nail polish
1 with hair do/make up/nail polish and princess dress

So you can see, each package includes the same things as a base and then adds on something, which increases in price

Then, for hair do you can choose from 3 (or is it 4 now) options. Those are the same price no matter which hair option you choose. Prices is totally based on the 3 packages above

From what I can remember on the hair options there are (again, no cost differences in these choices)
the basic up do/bun and has a tiara comb
a spikey hair piece that goes over the bun
a long hair piece that attaches to the bun and goes down the back (this is the version shown in the photo above)
Seems like there is one more now but I'm not 100% on that
