I read quite a bit of the BBB post for WDW, and I've done a search through the threads for DL to see if there is something as comprehensive. I found a good thread, but I am wondering if the pricing for the different packages has changed at all since both of those threads were started a few years ago. Does anyone know what the current pricing is?

Thanks.

We just did this in January. The whole she-bang: dress, shoes, hair, makeup, photo package etc was $181 with an AP discount, so about $200?

She looks adorable! We aren't doing the whole she-bang (I'm doing this for my 7 yo, and a friend's 4 yo). We are going to bring our own dresses. My daughter wants to ask grandma to make the pink Ariel dress. I only wanted to do the hair and makeup package, no nails. Is that still $49, or is it higher now? Do the Photopass photogs take pictures even if you don't get the whole she-bang with photo package?

Thanks.

Im planning on doing this for my DD (3) in may. There doesnt seem to be nearly as much info for the DL BBB as there is for the WDW one.

As always, I would love stories and pics from people who took their SONS for the Knight's Package. :-)

I know. If I get a free minute today, maybe I will call the BBB at DL for some details. I'll post here when I get some new info.

Okay, I called BBB today, and this is what I found out:

The Coach- $49.95 for the hair style, shimmering makeup, a sash, princess bag, and body jewels.

The Crown- $54.95, all of the above, plus nail polish.

The Castle- $189.95, all of the above, plus a dress, and photo package, and probably some things I am missing. Shoes are not included.

And a new package:
The Courtyard- $89.95, all of the things from the Coach and Crown, as well as a shirt, a tutu, and streaks of color in their hair (choice of 4 colors).

You can add a photo package (5 pics, don't know the sizes), for $29.95.

They book appointments 60 days out.

The Castle package varies depending on the dress you get. I don't remember exactly what we paid, but we got a bunch of extras including shoes, earrings, fancier wings, and a wand (she was Tink) for right around $220. She got the bun princess hair (not the Tink wig) and it lasted 3 days. It would have lasted longer, but she kept getting it wet in the bath and we kept fixing it, but she was just done with it. She loved it! It was her main Christmas present from my parents, and she felt like a princess (even though she's a (s)tinker bell) for the whole thing and for the days that followed (we brought several holiday dressed for her to wear in the park).

My DD3, DD5, and DD11 are doing the BBB in MK in March. My DD11 is 5'2. Will she fit into a 14/16? DD3 wears a 2/3. Do they have that dress size. They are all doing the Castle Package so I want to triple check. Thanks!princess:

I'm not sure about the sizing at the parks, but at the Disney Store, a size 14 is at the top of the height range for your 11 yo. A size XXS will fit 2/3. From what I hear, they have a wide range of sizes at the BBB, but they don't keep them all on the floor. Just ask for the size you need and they can get it for you.

Sorry, that probably wasn't much help, since I didn't give you a definite yes or no.

Oh, thanks! I'm sure the sizes can't be much different at the parks.:goodvibes

I wish there was a Pirates themed makeover area at DLR, like there is at WDW. Something tells me my 3 and 4 year old nephews wouldn't appreciate the BBB.

While not Pirates nor BBB, I took my kids to Studio 365 in Downtown Disney yesterday, and they LOVED it!! DS got his hair spiked up and color-gel, and we got more compliments on his hair than the two girls. I am just uploading pictures now, so will have a report soon!
Oh- and the boys style was $14.99, with a free set of the light-up drumsticks. So if you think of how much those should have cost, the hair-do was closer to $5.

The girls' styles were $29.99, and they got to keep their hairbrushes and make-up kits, which were priced at $14.99. And the stylists were AMAZING!

Yes, they were very helpful with the sizing. DGD first chose Sleeping Beauty but that dress is odd..the collar needs to be reworked, so she changed to Cinderella,,she is small for her age (6) so we had to try on different sizes too,
What is the shirt thing for the new package? Like a tshirt? And what is the tutu? That netting stuff?
On the brochure, it soes have a website, but haven't checked so don't know how informative it is: www.disneyland.com/style
