has your DD gone there for a princess 'do? How far ahead of time do you need to make reservations? And if your DD has just had the hair done (no nails) about how long did it take? I'd love to have my DD do this but I'm trying to plan logistics with character breakfasts, rope drops, etc!

I did the BBB with my DD just a week or so ago. It was our first experience and I have to say it was well worth the money. We chose the crown experience which is make up, hair, and nails. We brought our own princess gown. She loved it and the fairy godmother in training was awesome. ( I noticed that some gave a lackluster effort, and I was happy that our was enthusiastic) After the make up session you will have the opportunity to take photos in front of the princess carriage. We did this and the photos were great! We booked our session one day as walk in's. But, this is in January for off season. During a busier time I would advise booking an appt. 60 days in advance. It is not to be missed for the little princesses. :goodvibes

My DD went in for her transformation in December. We got the middle package, which I think was the Crown? It sounds like what Disneydreamer74 described. We booked about two weeks beforehand I think, and managed to snag the very first appt on a non MM day. She had two FGiT going at her. One for her hair and one for her nails and I think the whole thing was about 20 mins start to finish. I think part of the time was because her hair was just long enough for them to make a teeny tiny bun.

We snuck over to CA afterwards and went to the Princess lunch, which was so so great to do after just for the princesses. We won't be doing it again because of the disparity of price vs what you get, but we knew we were paying for the opportunity to hang with the Princesses without waiting in line.

We booked BBB a couple months in advance I think...We did the middle package too I believe. They got their hair done and makeup. We brought our own dresses. They were out of nail polish when we went, so they took that part off, but everything else was done. It took us about 40mins I guess for them to finish both girls. (They both had reeeeallly long hair at the time). It was a great experience and they just LOVED it! We went out straight after to the Rapunzel meet n greet. It was sooo cute all the attention they got all over the park after that in their pretty getups. :cloud9: Neat experience!

I booked this a month in advance. The actual procedure took less than an hour, I think. We brought our own dress along, which she changed into in the boutique dressing room. This is the only thing my daughter remembers from our trip, so it was definitely memorable & worth it. She was able to wear her hairdo for 2 days. Right after the makeover, she looked beautiful. She was thrilled with the results.

She had numerous requests from park guests (all foreign) to pose with them for photos. She enjoyed the attention, and gladly posed with everyone who asked. She had lots of stares throughout the rest of the day and compliments. Very exciting! Now I'm thinking maybe we should do this again on our next trip...

We just did this last Tuesday. It was very slow in the parks so DD called in the morning and her appt was at 11:30 am. I think we got lucky!
She did the whole she-bang and I can't believe I'm saying this but it was totally worth it. The Cinderella dress, choice of slippers (she chose 'glass'), gloves, purse, ring, face jewels, makeup, fingernail polish, tiara, hairdo, lots of glitter and photo package that they print out and give you right then (and also add it all to your PhotoPass card) took 1 hour from walking in the door to leaving and cost $181 with an AP discount.
Have fun!

thanks everyone! It sounds like she will love it!
