Can anyone tell me anything about this?

How much are the packages and what do you get?

I think it would be great for my 9 year old daughter.

Can we take our own pics?

Donna

This is a fun experince (that is about 30mins) for the girls my DD6 loved it so we did it during our July and Aug trips. They have three packages starting at 35 dollars (hair&makeup) 45 dollars (hair, makeup,&nails) I believe the Castle package starts at 19 (hair, makeup, nails, costume, accessories,&photopackage) we paid 15 dollars (may have been as much as 30) more for the castle pack because the wedding cinderella is considered a deluxe costume. The hairstyles vary from a traditional princess to a diva princess with a ponytail with a colorful hair ponytail holder. You can take all the pics you want you can even video. These are a few pics of my DD's trips.

July 06: We brought this dress with us from the disney store at home.

If you have your own costume you are allowed to wear it, you do not have to purchase their costume package if money is an issue.

We took my DGD for her 5th birthday and had hair, nails and makeup done. Then she wore her own Cinderella costume to dinner at 1900 Park Fare. It was so worth the $45 for us to be there and photograph the whole thing! It is how we all wanted to be treated like a princess when we were little. There will be girls of all ages and the staff could not be more wonderful. But you want to book it as early as you can, we were there Oct. 19 and it was booked through Christmas holidays at that point.princess:

I wanted her to get the updo the little girl has in the pictures, but one of the choices is a long "diva" hairpiece and of course she wanted that one. We were able to salvage it so she could wear it the next day too and then it got a little ratty. I saw alot of girls with that hairpiece.

My DD did this last year and LOVED it, and of course requested it for this upcoming trip as well. (Of course we said yes.) She had a ball and was treated like a princess through and through. Everyone was ohhing and awwwing over her everywhere we went afterwards. The prices quoted before are correct, but I don't know whow mcuh the deluxe was where you get a dress and photo shoot. I thought it was pretty excessive IMO. My DD had already bought the minnie dress and wore that (she said there were to many princesses at WDW and she wanted to be different:rolleyes: )
Anyway if I am doing this right I have some pics to follow!

OMG! Those are adorable pictures!! This is something that I'm going to have to think about. My DD will be 5 1/2 when we go, so we'll see as it gets closer if this is something that she will really want. I'm not too keen on the long nails though, for her age. But the hair and makeup look beautiful!

Thank you, the nails are press on and DD took them off as soon as she was finished b/c she decided she didn't really like them after all.

My mom purchases a new costume+accessories everytime she goes on a trip with DD and since it was almost her bday she got this package. The cost was equal to buying all of the stuff in disney and then going to the BBB and doing the photos. The only difference is that the dresses don't come off the rack they are stored in the back in in bags and when you arrive the steam press them to remove the wrinkles. The wedding dress cost more b/c it is considered a deluxe dress and the deluxe category is more just like at the disney store.

I hope this info is helpful.

Also if you don't want the press on nails they will just paint her nails for her, and give you the press on nails to take home (ours went in the trash) :goodvibes

Oh, that's good! I could see it being a cute treat for an older girl, but not for my DD who will be 5 years old, IMO... But she likes having her nails painted. Not that I do it very often cuz getting a 3 year old to sit still and wait for them to drive is a pain!

Thanks so so much for the help, anyone know if i can book by e-mail as living in the uk it might be a bit pricey to phone?

Donna

HOw adorable she is. I can't wait til my one year old is old enough to do this - I bet the mom's would enjoy it too.:thumbsup2

The telephone number for booking BBB is 407-WDW-STYLE. You can also wait till you arrive but during busy days they are of course busier and they are always busy.

Is my 10 and a half month girl too young for this ? She's got a lot of hair, more than her Dad actually :rotfl2:

Of course no make up and stuff but would they have infant sized dresses that we could get some pictures done ? If not, just another excuse to go back in a few years.

She is too young for the boutique they must be at least 3. I haven't had to buy a costume in that size in so long I don't know if they have them that small I did purchase a minnie costume in 2002 that was a 24 mths. Right now on Disneyoutlet.com they have a pink princess costume for 14.99 they also have tinkerbell for 16.99. These are from 6-12 and 12-18 mths.

YOu can have her "First haircut" done in teh Magic Kindom at the Harmony Barber shop! For $15 you can get her hair cut (YOu choose how), mouseears that say "First Haircut" an official certificate, a package of her hair for YOU (Complete with Mickey Sticker!) and lots of MIckey head glitter.

We had our 14 MO son's done and it was truely magical!!

Our girls, 4 and almost 6 at the time LOVED the BBB!!! We just did the basic package and brought in our own dresses. We took our own pictures, but the phot pass guy was there as well. WELL WORTH the $35 IMHO. One got a Tiara and Michey head barrette to keep ($20 SRV for both On their own!) and the other got a hair peice and jeweled Michey Head bobby pins (Again $20) then we added a tiara for her too for $10 more. for both do's and 15 post cards it was $95. You get to keep the make up pallette too.
