Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Question

Hello! I'm hoping I chose the correct forum for this question

We have a reservation for bibbidi bobbidi boutique (ETA: Magic Kingdom) and my daughter wants an aurora dress. I would like to get her a real "disney" dress (usually ~$50ish range). I live in a rural area so picking up one myself before we get there is not an option.

Is there a way I can have one delivered to my resort (Beach Club - we will be there Friday), or is there a place I could quickly pick one up when we get there? Since I've never been to BBB before, I don't want to get in there and the only one available is from the signature collection. I know they're on shopdisney but not sure I can trust that to be there on Friday? Any ideas?

You can have anything delivered to your resort that you get from the Disney stores in the parks or the World of Disney store at Disney Springs. But trust me, they will have a "normal" Aurora dress at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
If you are worried though, get one sent to the resort from the World of Disney store at Disney Springs, I'm sure even the resort staff could help with this if you can't make it over to Springs to get it yourself.

They will have them there at BBB. The only thing you have to concern yourself with is the size she needs. It's not at all unheard of for them to be sold out of some sizes. If she's stuck on 1 dress and 1 dress alone you should arrange to have it in hand before you go. Either ship to the resort from the online store or plan to visit GF, where they sell dresses, or World of Disney and buy it yourself.

Magic Kingdom BBB? They should have the Aurora dress, with the only issue being a size issue. If they are sold out of the size she wants at the BBB and that is the dress she really wants, usually they will call the Emporium and have it brought down if they have it there. All that does is slow you down a bit. They did that more than once for my DD. However, if the Emporium also happens to be out of the right size (rare, but it can happen), then you would have a problem.

If you get there early enough on your arrival day, are not going to a park, and are looking for a dress outside the parks you probably can find it in the gift shop at the Grand Floridian or at World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

How old is your DD? Has she seen the Aurora dress and the other dresses on Shop Disney? My DD was known to say she was going to absolutely going to get a certain dress and then when she got to the BBB and saw and felt all the dresses, she would change her mind to something that completely surprised us. I think she did stick to her choice and her favorite Princess, Cinderella, her first time though. If you buy it at WDW ahead of time, I would keep the receipt and not let her wear it until she changes into it at her BBB appointment. Even if you bought it elsewhere on WDW property, they would probably let you exchange or return at the BBB. Unless things have changed (with the exception of some of the World Showcase shops with actually are not operated by Disney) if you buy something at a Disney owned store on WDW property they will allow you to exchange or return it anywhere on property.

Thanks all! I'm happy knowing the dress is more than likely there and not just the signature option! I will probably just wait until we get there in that case. On the off chance they didn't have it she wouldn't really be disappointed to make the trek to Disney Springs to get it.
