Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Opinions

LouisianaFive~ First I wanted to say everytime I see your name I what think that it is my aunt she has quintuplets so alot of their stuff has sometime of reference and well of course we are from LA.

To answer your question about BBB we did it in July and Aug. In july dd was sleeping beauty and aug she got wedding cinderella. If you checkout the link in my sig you will see her pics as well as others. DD wore her costume for a while but she did change when she was ready so I would worry about that and there are costumes to kind of go w/ the weather.

I have a LONG way to go yet since our trip isn't until January, but DD3 (will be 4 this June) is already talking about BBB since I showed her all the BEAUTIFUL GIRLS on the DIS who have been there! We are tentatively planning dinner at Akershus with the Princesses and I think doing BBB before the meal would be ideal. Dad will have to keep little sister (who will be just a little over 2) occupied while I take off with big sister for the afternoon. I figure DH can stay at OKW and play on the playground or take a nap (with DD2, not by himself:lmao: ) and then me and DD4 will take the boat to DTD and do the BBB. If we plan on taking the bus to Epcot from DTD, how much time do we need to plan between our BBB appointment and our ADR at Akershus? I figure me and DD4 will meet up with DH and DD2 at Epcot. I certainly hope he can find his way there by himself....he is a little bit Disney-challenged:rotfl2:

I don't think that you can take the bus from DtD to Epcot. It takes about 30-45 mins for BBB if they are not running behind I would just take the boat back to OKW and meet dh there and then to on to Epcot.

Survivor 06 is right you cant get the bus from DTD to EPCOT but I think you could get it to Beach Club and then just walk in through The International Gateway. Takes 5 or 10 minutes and you are then in World Showcase. I'm planning to do BBB before Akershus with DD8 in September. It looks like a lot of fun :-)

Oooo...good call:thumbsup2 I hadn't thought about going in the back door! It should be quicker to get to the restaurant that way! I still might just have to hop the boat back to OKW and pick up DH....I wouldn't want him to get lost:laughing:

Question, My DD is 2, she will be 3 a month after our trip, can she do BBB? Also did BBB move to new location? One more ?? Do they take walkins?

Glitzybabes- Thanks for posting the link.

2Princes2Princesses & MommaPooh217- We would like to see your photos added if interested.

Mermaidmom1- Your DD is definitely not to young take her and have a great time. I don't think I have seen one post that has not been a good expierence. I think everyone's dd truly feels like a princess when the do this and you can also have it done if you would like.

kristenrice, you might do well to book at the new BBB location- they are opening a second BBB INSIDE the Castle!! It is supposed to be open some time in September- it will be taking the place of a shop there now. It would be easy to do the appt, then take the monorail to Epcot.

staticgirl50, technically, the minimum age is 3 for BBB, but if your DD can sit still and you think she'd be fine, I'd ask if they can take her. Also, as ststed above, there is a second BBB location opening in September at the Castle in the MK. They PROBABLY will not take walkins- I'm sure it will be booked solid pretty much from the moment they open their doors. If you want to try, I'd recommend going first thing in the morning and see if they can take you then.

Downtown Disney BBB does take walkins but the MK location will probably not take walkins. They do say that if they are w/in 30days of turning 3 you can do it. So in the end that is your call as a pp said if you think your dd will be okay then go for it.

Well, we are going May 6th, so I better call now for reservations huh! She got her nails done at a local salon-(Just painted---NOT acrylics or anything) Because she has been doing so well with potty training and she sat through it just fine. She LOVED it! I will call and ask! THANKS SO MUCH!

Wondering at what age would you all think would be too old? I have a 9 and 12 year old that are absolutely, no joke - the sweetest girls ever. They saw this on the DVD and thought it was so cute and looked fun. Anyway - just wondering...:tink:

There is no cut-off- we saw several Mommies having their hair and makeup done along with their little girls! As long as your DDs think it's cool, they can have a blast getting done up like a Princess.

As for the dresses, I think the largest size they carry is a girls 12. Older girls and ladies can get the hair, makeup, and nails, but not the dress. They can still do the photo session- it would just be a seperate price for the pictures.

Good idea, but if he's going to be lost, then OKW is such a nice spot for being lost in. Wish I was lost by the side of the sand pail pool with a cool glass of something right now :-)

My DD(4) had an appt for 4 PM so we could get back to MK for MVMCP last Dec. It was early in the month when it wasn't as crowded and they were still running an hour behind. So I would try to get a morning appt so you wouldn't have to worry too much about that. The tissue comment is right. Thank heaven for the disney photopass because I was so excited that I forgot to take my pictures. (We use photopass the entire trip and then buy the CD with all our pictures on it.)

I'm 37 and did this on my birthday last Sept and will be doing it again this year. I took my 78 yr old Grandmother and she had her hair done it was a blast. When i asked they said princesses 3-99 yr old and they have a photopass photographer I have some pictures which are priceless to me. I would pass on the nails wasn't worth it.

I'm actually going this weekend and having a different style done just hair and makeup . Also dragging my boyfriend to get the "cool dude" .

I'll take any chance I can to be a kid and it be accepted!!!!

Go and have a great time, you should have it done with your daughters.

Just wanted to pop in and say that my DDs did this last October. My oldest was 3 1/2 and my youngest had turned 2 in August. When I called to make the appointment I told the CM that my DD was 2 and she said that was fine. She did make sure to tell me that if we got there and she changed her mind or freaked out we would still be paying for the package. I was fine with that because I knew she would sit, especially since her big sister was doing it. Both girls loved it. I'm going to make ressies to have them go again when we go down in November.

Does anyone know when you can book appointments at the MK location? I wasn't sure if you could yet since it isn't open or are they taking those appts through the DTD location?

Thanks

I believe they will start taking reservations on April 29th.

WOW! I had no idea that they were opening a second location! Anyone know where in the Castle the shop is going to be?

I am still confused about the differences in the packages...

Pkg level 1 is Hair & Make Up & you get to take home make-up right?

Pkg level 2 is Pkg 1 + Press on Nails with Polish and you get to take home polish?

Pkg 3 is everything

Does the PassPort Photographer take photos no matter which package or only get photos taken if Pkg 3?

I Plan on buying the Photo CD, so I don't really need prints but just want the PassPort Photographer to take photos.
