Hi Everyone,
Just been reading the thread over on the family forum about the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for girls .Opening this spring at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. Is there anyone out there who knows how this will work...appointment only or first come first served??? what they will offer costs etc...
Perhaps a castmember on the DIS who works there , or someone who has been to the one at the Disney Store version in NY might be able to fill us in?? As the mummy of a little princess going in May very keen to find out more . Many thanks :upsidedow

I would also like more info. Is it like the shop they have in Disneyland where young girls can get a "makeover" of sorts. I remember reading in some trip reports about that experience.

From what I have read, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is going to be a section within the World of Disney store. It is located at the back of the section on the far right as you are facing the store (the one with Alice in Wonderland, where the stuffed animals are) Well a construction wall has been put up around that area and based on the concept art posted it looks like a Princess oriented salon for little girls. They can get hair and makeup, nails painted etc...like their favorite Princess, in addition to buying dresses and accessories. Aparently the concept art shows different "stations" like Hair, Nails, Makeup etc...It sounds like it will be really cute and is supposedly opening in April 2006.

Because of the station set up, i'd think its a first come first serve basis, as opposed to appointments, but i could be totally off the mark on that.

Sounds a lot like the store "Libby-Lu" which we have here in MN. Little girls go there for birthdays to have their hair, nails, and sparkly make-up done. They also get a gift bag with lip gloss, etc. When walking through the mall we've seen the employees singing and dancing with them. Thei girls had little fake head sets! This version is more trendy-punky-Britney Spears-ish.

I like the idea of a princess boutique at DTD. But you'd better get in line now, because the place is going to be PACKED! :crowded:

YAY!! I can't wait for our trip now. My niece (who's 4) will love this! My little one will be too little but maybe they can put some sparklies in her hair or something!

And yes, it does sound a lot like Libby Liu's!
