My 20yo was a Fairy Godmother in Training when she extended her CP. The training was excellent. They are licensed hair braiders, since there is no cutting or tools involved other than a comb/brush and the hands. You learn to do buns and twists and some braiding.
She loved it and stayed on, but recently transferred to the new Kim Possible attraction at Epcot. She still picks up shifts at BBB, though, b/c it will always be dear to her heart.

No, she didn't. She just has little sisters and loves hair. I've heard the salon experience thing, too, but I'm not sure why it would matter since there is no cutting involved, just twisting, braiding, and putting up buns.

You don't neccessarily need to have experience in a salon. My friend who was a FGIT used to do all the girls hair at her Dance Studio....they want you have some sort of experience doing other people (and little girls) hair...
