I took my girls to the BBB at MK a few times in the past and my girls loved the royal treatment (who wouldn't). For their first trip to Disneyland, I'm now thinking to add BBB.

Is there any differences between the BBB at WDW and DLR?

In the past, I had my girls' own costumes and used PP+/MM at the Portrait Studios. The same goes at Disneyland?? Also, I read that BBB gives priority passes for the Princess M&G with the Castle Pkg. I really like the carriage backdrop with the Disneyland BBB Portraits. If that's the only way to get these, I don't know if I should splurge and book the Castle Pkg for my girls...

Thank you!!

Not sure of any differences between the two...
You can purchase the photos a la carte for any of the BBB packages...you just will not get priority M&G access.

Just booked BBB for my daughters this morning. Just want to share the differences in booking DL BBB for my fellow WDW veterans.

1. You must indicate which package you want to book. A change of package require cancellation and rebook. (Glad I changed my mind within 1/2 hours and able to get a similar time slot)
2. If you are bringing your own costume, you have to change ahead of time. Fitting rooms are reserved for Castle Package only. (WDW asks if you have your own and arrange the use of the fitting room)

CMs were friendly and helpful. It will be the first time we are doing the Castle pkg and the Courtyard pkg. Can't wait!!!

DL used to be that way too when you brought your own dress...They would set it up in the fitting room. They only have a few dressing rooms, so it would make sense if they were having issues before.

MK BBB has only 2 dressing rooms as well. Maybe it is a new change across the parks. I will find out next year. I'm not planning another BBB visit at MK this summer.

We took DGD 2nd week of December. She got the frozen package this package was fairly new so the FGMIT seemed unsure of what to do. She was able to change into her dress in the dressing room. No pictures with the carriage but did get to do the princess M&G access.

I thought you can still take the photo at the carriage but need to purchase the photo separately. My 8 years old no longer want to wear princess costume so I booked the courtyard pkg for her. She will not be a happy camper if her younger sister get to take pictures with the carriage and not herself.

Good to know that I need to pick a package ahead of time. My daughter is nuts for Elsa but she will want the Castle package if she knows they get a special picture the Frozen package doesn't.
