We were at Disney last year when DD was 9. She was soooo not interested in Disney princesses before we went. We did everything up with Tink instead. But when we got there - the Disney magic took over and our last night we did BBB at downtown Disney. We didn't do the whole dress thing. Just bought a pretty pink princess top from the gift shop (lots of glitter) and had her BBB makeover (she did the popstar package - no tiara). It was GREAT!! She slept in the hair & makeup and we went back to the castle the next day to have "re-sprinkled" with pixie dust. It was really magical even if she was a little old for it. The "fairy godmother's" are what makes it special for any age. They were fantastic!!

I think it was about $80 for all of it. Not sure if that was shirt included or not.

**There were grown women in there getting made up... I don't think I would do it, but they were having a blast! hahaha

We took our daughters on our last trip, they were 4, 7, and 11. Oldest wasn't sure she wanted to do it, but even she had fun. It was great, the kids still talk about it. I have it booked again for this year, they will be 6, 9, and 13. 13YO, not sure she wants to do it, but she said that last time and we wanted Thanksgiving day so I figured I'd better book it for all of them. Hairstyle lasted 2 days, and the memories will last forever. We tipically go on a budget, but this was one thing we splurged on and are glad we did. The photos are GREAT!!! We just did the hair and make-up, brought costumes from Disney Store (not for oldest), but they were very pleased with that.

We took my DD(7) to Disney for her 6th bday and had ressies for CRT for dinner, so we booked the BBB before. My mother and I went for the BIG KAHUNA :lmao: package(actually called the castle I think) which cost $200-did I mention she is my mothers only grandchild? enough said) In any case, she picked out a sleeping beauty ensemble and they went to work! After what seemed like FOREVER! Her "do" started taking shape. She had picked the 'Pop Princess" I think it was called( but they really should name it the "PUNK princess"), hair style while every other girl in the place picked the other 2 styles. We started to get nervous she wasn't going to like it, so I asked the manager what would happen if she hates it, and she said not to worry they would give her a new do because "We want every girl to leave feeling like a princess." :) Nice right? Well the moment of truth arrived and they turned her around to see herself as they announced her as a new princess, and....SHE LOVED IT!!!! It was worth every cent to see her face when she saw herself.

One thing I do want to mention is that if you pick the castle package the difference in cost comes from which princess the little girl chooses to be-some outfits are more expensive than others.

Also if you are booking a ADR for after, give yourself lots of time because they do a photo shoot and take like 40 shots for you to choose from-so it takes awhile. Plus there are people ahead of you as well so it takes time for it to be your turn. I had called and asked for the CMs advice on what time to book the BBB for and told her we had 7pm ressies at CRT so she said 5pm (this was when they only had the DTD site open) and we missed our ressie-thank goodness a WONDERFUL CM named Maria called the restaurant and explained that it was not our fault and got us in later:goodvibes

We just got back from our first trip to WDW and I had booked my youngest dd in to the BBB and she was beyond thrilled with how she looked shen she was done there!!! She chose the DIVA hairdo and I had bought the costume at the Disney store after Halloween last year and we brought it along, way cheaper than buying it in WDW

Took My 8 yr. old granddaughter Nov. 07 to the Castle boutique. She loved it! Had her hair done with extensions, makeup and nails ane was treated like a princess we think she is! Of course, every little girl is a princess a Disney! Highly recommend the experience, and take lots of pictures!
