Will be making ressies for my 7 and 5 year old in the next few days....the 5 year old is a girlie girl....the 7 yr old not so much but would love some of the experience.

Looking for advice from any/all who have it....

Is there a site I can find a menu on, the WDW site did not have one I could find.

Thanks!

The other thread is great but a long read!

In a quick nutshell. . .

There are three packages to pick from - Coach $45 (hair and make up), crown $50 (hair make up and nails) and castle $180+ (hair, make up, nails, dress, accessories, photos etc.). You choose the package when you book.

There are three styles to choose from. I think they are called: Disney Diva, Pop Princess and Disney Princess. You choose the style when you check-in at BBB.

Disney Diva - adds a hair piece in the same color as childs hair. It gives them long hair with ribbons w/mickey head.

Disney princess - hair is put in bun and small silver tiara is pinned in

Pop Princess - multi-colored spiky hair piece is put in. More of a rock/punk look.

We did the crown package and took our own Cinderella dress and shoes. We took our own photos and there was a photopass photographer who took photos. DD picked the Disney Diva so she could have long hair (her hair was chin length at the time).

DD absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it! Last time we did the DTD location. In January, we are going to the MK location right before breakfast at CRT.

Here is a photo of DD! Enjoy!

My DD5 did this just last week. We had BBB at 11:00 and CRT lunch at 1:20. The previous poster filled you in on all the details. My advice would be show up 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment. It was really busy. They'll give you a buzzer (like a restaurant) like thing to that vibrates and the FG starts talking when they're ready for you. We took ours and waited out in the castle area as it was packed. BBB at MK is very very small - not sure about DTD one. I also combed through DD's hair to get any snarls out prior to going in. Also - took her to the bathroom before.

Its lots of fun! Enjoy!

I'm actually just getting ready to call for reservations for BBB, followed by breakfast or lunch at CRT. How long does it take at BBB? I don't want to be late for my CRT reservation, but I don't want too much time between, either. I will probably do the Crown package and bring my own princess dress, also.
Oh, and my little princess is almost 4 and soooo into dressing up and the Disney princesses!! She is going to LOVE this!!:cloud9:

Thanks!!

For January, I made my CRT reservation first (since you never know what time you will get there). Then, when I called for the BBB ressie they suggested a time to me based on when my CRT ressie is. My ressie at BBB is at 8:50 and CRT at 10:15. I think they recommend an hour and a half or more. If I remember right, the process only takes like 25 minutes but they usually seem to be running behind schedule.

Your dd will love it! The look on my DD's face when she saw herself in the mirror was priceless!

Thank you so much for the tip!
Your daughter is adorable!!

I'm gonna call now for my ressie!!

Something else to keep in mind. If you want to take advantage of the photo session its at the Expo Hall which is besides Tony's restaurant. Its a little bit of a walk back to the front of Main Street and then a wait for the photographer and then a wait to have your pics printed. You could always do it after the meal but then you risk having food or drink spilled on her dress. We had just enough time - 11 BBB and 1:20 lunch - we checked in at 1.

The photopass photographers are at BBB and you can take pics as well. I didn't think the photo session was all that great. They do get some cute pics though and take many pics so theres a lot on our photopass card. It was included w/our pkg so of course we did it.

I called and got my reservation!:cheer2:

It was already booked the day of our CRT ressie, so instead, I booked a ressie at Rainforest Cafe in DTD, then BBB (also in DTD), then we will head straight to MVMCP! :santa:
I had a very helpful person on the phone when I called and she helped me set all that up.
My next thing is to get my DD a "winter princess" outfit to wear! She's going to be sooo excited!
I think we'll probably take mostly our own pictures/videos. I'm really not sure how the photographers at Disney work, though, so we'll see...

Thank you all again for all of your help!:flower3:

Does anyone have pictures of the Boys at BBB I know I have seen them, but can't find them now.
I just made ressy's for my 13 year old princess: and my 7 & 5 year old pirate:
I would realy like to find pictures of the boys. This is a :santa: Christmas surprise

Stupid question...do you make your ressies for BBB when you call for your CRT ressies? Do you actually ask the dining person for ressies at BBB too?

You asked for advice and I hope you take it for what it's worth.

I have seen hundreds, literally hundreds of girls that have done BBB. I just have to say that i think they come out looking horrible.

Basically (with some exceptions of course) their hair is slicked back, glittered, add a crown and some cheap fake hair and there you have it. I am sure the experience is magical for the girls, but the final product is not.

Sorry to sound like such a "downer" but I just had to give you my advice. Again, this is just my personal opinion, and I hope the experience is magical for you both:cloud9:

All kinds of advice are welcome.....thank you for your opinion. I have to say I kind of agree. this will be a one time thing for this family......mostly a "dream" my five year old has had since she first saw the ad 2 years ago.

I made my reservations ( same as dining.....though I did it with DVC) for our last day, that way when I can not the gook out of the hair for a few days at least we will not be taking any pictures on the way home! Funny how we take them there, but not going home!

Thank you again to everyone.....we booked the $50 package for both girls, much more the experience than the look.....though I am sure my 5 year old will feel like a queen, my 7 year old wants a watered down version.

:goodvibes

Why we are on the subject of the excessive gel use...how many washings did it take to get it out of their hair? I planned on booking (if DD decides she wants to do it) for the middle of our next trip...which means that I'll be wanting it out of her hair that night for pics the next day. How hard is it to get that stuff out of their hair?
