I am redecorating my bedroom in preparation for the new carpet and new bed (my old bed is causing back ache) I was thinking of replacing my bedroom door with a bi fold one instead of the normal ones for a change. Has anyone here put one on a bedroom and how did it work?

its quite strate forward, but i am a joiner(carpenter).main thing is to get hight of carpet so you can cut door to correct size.fix track to head of frame for track, fit in rollers (would advise setting to max so you have some adustment in case you have to adust)then messure doun to carpet to cut door.you can do this before fitting carpet and fitting doors to old floorboards and put a pencil mark on door and frame in same spot remove door, fit carpet .bring in bed .then with mark on frame use that to mesure down to carpet for corrasonding point on door to cut.
Hope its been helpful its uasly easy for me:rotfl:

hi are you putting new doors on an existing frame or buying a new robe ? if its the latter then have a look on this website ,they make good quality robes at affordable prices (if you type rauch in to google it should bring up there homepage)

I want it for my bedroom door rather than the tradional ones I thought it would be nicer and not take up so much room.
