I'll be in St. Petersburg for an extended Sabbatical in January/February.
We are not doing Disney on this trip, but are trying to experience a number of other things that Florida has to offer.
I plan on buying the 2-park/14-day tickets for Busch Gardens & Sea World Orlando online, intending to have those tickets from Jan 20-Feb 3. We'll probably go to each park for 2 days, with a 5th day reserved to go back to one of the parks if we missed anything (or wanted to do repeats).
It's just my wife and I--fairly active and able to accomplish a lot.
Questions:
1) What should we expect crowd levels to be like during this time?
2) Are there days of the week that are typically busier than others?
3) When will show calendars be released for these parks?
4) I assume that I should avoid going on MLK day and on Superbowl Sat/Sun/Mon. Is this a correct assumption? Other days to avoid?
5) Any other tips?
