Beware...Will Call # not linking to MDE

Been on the phone for over 1 hour trying to renew annual pass. 1st rep gave me wrong info. that you can not downgrade (premium to seasonal) & get the renewal rate. WRONG! Called back & rep did it no problem. However, will call # will not link to MDE. Now, on the phone with tech support. Apparently, this is a common problem. Hoping to get FP+ & that my MagicBands work this trip.

Also told can only use 2 gift cards to pay for annual pass. Both cards have to cover annual pass in full or else 1 gift card & 1 credit card.
 
I had no problem linking my will call number to MDE. Sorry you're having an issue.

You can use multiple gift cards, I used 16. I had to ask for a supervisor and sit through multiple wait times. I have spent more time on the phone with Disney in the last month than I have in all of my calls combined since 1998.
 
I had an issue calling in trying to use a reward card, multiple transfers and long hold times just got annoyed and hung up. Went online and did it myself in minutes including linking the voucher numbers. I try to do most things online and for some reason didn't start there for this transaction.

Are you using old MB or new ones? We had a lot of issues last fall because each person had multiple MB.

I have not been able to do that in the last 2 years. They have always restricted it to 2, even when I asked for a manager.

FWIW I just bought 2 PAP using the Disney Vacation Account, which was funded with 20+ $50 GC from Target :goodvibes I couldn't purchase online, but the call to purchase the tickets was less then 5mins total.

Interesting.. I'd not seen that before. Do you think you could pay MF with the Disney Vacation Account?

I found out about it Monday ;)

When I purchased the tickets, the payment option goes through the "Disney Gift Card" option. Since Member Accounting takes GC, theoretically it should work :rolleyes1 Plan to try it next year.
