Beware when you call for AP Rate Rooms...

This evening I had to make 2 calls to secure an AP rate at the CR for a Tower MK view. The reason I had to make the second call was due in large part to the first CMs inability or lack of training on how to access the AP rate. The first CM told me that there were no AP rates available for any Deluxe resort except the Honeymoon Suite at GF.

Judging by the tone of his voice I felt that he was a bit unsure of himself, so I thanked him for checking and I took a chance and called back. This time I was lucky enough to get a very helpful CM and she was able to find AP rates at several Deluxe resorts for me.

Just beware that if you seem to have a CM that is "unsure" of themselves, hang up and call back if you have the ability to do so. You may just get lucky.

Indeed. Bookings via the web site were not working for a good portion of the day, so phone calls were the only option available. Not to mention that the CP package was released today as well, which didn't help with regards to 'load'.

Hope everyone gets the rates they are looking for!

I did call back and still was told no AP rate at CR!

I ended up cancelling the CR Tower MK view because I got a better deal at the Poly! I ended up changing my ressie to Poly!

Oh well, I hear that there is construction going on at the CR and at least we are still on the Monorail!

Won't have as far to go for my Kona Tonga Toast!
