This just irritates me, common courtesy would dictate that if it doesn't belong to you don't take it! We rented towels at Blizzard Beach for $1 each and since we had to go into the water, we set our towels on a beach chair in an out of the way area (not right next to a walkway where they would be easily taken). Well lo and behold we go back to get our towels and they are gone, but they left my water bottle there, isn't that convenient. No case of mistaken identity there, they obviously knew those towels didn't belong to them since they knew enough to leave the water bottle there! Well what really irritated me is when I went to the shop to see if we could get replacement towels, I explained that our towels were taken, etc.. Well the CM has to give me this speech about how she is not supposed to give us new towels and how she is doing me a huge favor, la dee da. Well I appreciated the fact she gave us new towels, since ours were stolen, but felt that the "I am towel god, you bow down to me" speech wasn't really necessary. Anyway if anyone reading this thread is guilty of towel stealing (which i'm sure none are but you never know) shame on you, and know that karma gets everyone in the end.

Worse, someone might use the towel and leave it there for you.

you will have to come up with another strategy such as renting a locker and keeping the towel there. (Do you really need a towel while you are on the beach?)

There will never be common courtesy or etiquitte in airports or other public places liek WDW until someone, or rather some cadre, forces it by delivering akrma.

That stinks, when I used to go to the waterparks w/my parents we would leave our bag and towels and everything out and no one touched it. I've heard too many stories now of people getting stuff stolen, so we just use a locker.

How annoying! It has to be laziness as anyone that can afford to be at Disney can certainly afford $1 for a towel. I too miss the days when you could just leave your stuff on a lounger and be done with it. Oh well... :sad2:
