Beware Scary Fantasmic!

When I was around 4 I saw fantasmic for the first and last time for a very long time! I saw it again for the first time in about 9 years on my last trip. It is not that scary to me now, but I was hysterical when I first saw it, I was sreaming and crying on the villians part, but I was a scardy cat anyway.

I don't think Fantasmic has been around for 9 years. We have only been going for 9 years and I know it wasn't around for the first couple of years.

My 2 yr old and 6 yr old thought it was great...They laughed throughout the whole villian part because they knew Mickey would come take care of business (that is what I told them) :goodvibes so they knew it would be OK!!

We sat in the very front row so I didn't notice if anybody else was leaving or crying.

Of course, I hear people talk about what a scary ride SNOW WHITE is, and my kids laughed throughout it as well.

It probably was not 9 years I don’t remember exactly how old I was :confused3 , :rolleyes1 .

my kids have always loved it.... I have never seen anything or heard anything but positive responses to it other then on this site....

Arent all the disney movies alittle scary at times... its that what we all grew up with in disney movies... Little mermaid and the sea witch, snow white and malificent (sp) and so on.... fantasmic is meant to follow fantasia and that should give everyone a good idea of whats going to happen during the show...

Maybe it wasnt the villans that cleared out all those people ... maybe someone had eaten too many tacos....:lmao: :rotfl2: My dog can clear a room really fast like that when shes been into the catfood.:lmao:
Sorry, couldnt resist.

Is the DL version of this alot different from the WDW version...in terms of show content..and presentation??

Ive only seen it at WDW and never really noticed a huge deal about the villians as it always seems so distant with the big lagoon and spraying water.

DL version is much better. Seating is way worse at DL, but the show is better. You have Peter Pan instead of Pocahontas. They come out on the pirate ship (I think it is the sailing ship Columbia) instead of some of the other boats.

They don't have a theater to show Fantasmic at DL, so you sit on the sidewalk, wherever you can find a seat.
