I am writing this as a victim of the latest crime spree at the Marriott timeshare. On the early morning of April 1 there were 6 villas that were broken into with 4 having items taken. I believe we lost the most. This stop was at the end of our 10 day tour of Europe, different countries, etc. We lost about 10,000$ worth of stuff. A laptop, 5 swiss rolex made watches, souveniers, money, credit cards. We were sleeping upstairs when this occurred. Our friend who is with us, actually heard them and thought maybe it was me beacause i could not sleep. But it wasn't. Marriott has actually been terrible!!!! They have not assisted us at all. We had to call a manager after the police were here, etc. The general manager we were told would meet with us the next day, but we had to call to make an appt. We were not even asked if we wanted to change our room. I have never had this experience, thank goodness, but I expected to be treated a lot better than I was from a major corporation. When we get back to the states on Saturday, a letter to Corporate Marriott is going out real quick. thanks for listening. I can't wait to get out of here. We are off to Nantes to visit my daughter who is studying here.
