FWIW, I stayed in a DVC Studio at the Poly and the sofa sleeper was beyond horrible there too. I don't think it's just a ASMu thing!

I slept on the sofa bed in the suite and was surprised how comfortable it was.

I always bring (but seldom need to use) a queen size air mattress for reasons like this.
But the point of this thread was the OP warning against going from 2 beds to a "suite" with one bed and a sofa bed.
I appreciate her heads up/warning.

I don't know her age but A) if she paid, I think her butt deserves to be in the bed)
B) Some adult children wouldn't think of taking their elders bed

Just for clarity, there are 3 fold outs in an Asmu suite. One queen bed in the bedroom as well.

I stand corrected

I would always prefer the 2 beds though....over Murphy beds or sleeper sofas etc.

(WL wanted to persuade my family of 5 to book a studio when I know my 6'2 and 6' son(s) could never be happy on a sofa and my 22 yr old daughter doesn't want to sleep under the TV with a pull down twin. lol)

My son would've been on the sleeper sofa and I'd have taken the master. LOL Anyways - when we stayed there and my DD who was 15 at the time slept on the sleeper sofa one night. It was horrible she said and the rest of the nights she put the sheet on the couch and just slept on the couch unopened. She said that was better.

And that was 3 years ago! So I guess they haven't dealt with the crappy sleeper sofa issue.
