Oh, that's really sad. I just heard this past weekend that she was seriously ill. She was a class act.

I used to love her duet specials with Carol Burnett. A sad passing for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I sure do wish we could find a cancer cure. Such an awful disease.

I've watched a lot of her videos on YouTube these past few days since hearing that she was ill. What a remarkable talent and a remarkable lady.

I did not know that both of her children have special needs.

I was sorry to hear that she was ill and then to learn of her death. What a wonderful talent she was and she will be missed.

Beverly and the NYCO were our top clients when I was in classical radio back in New York. She would always come with an entourage of about 10 people... all catering to her every whim.

She was a TRUE DIVA! An amazing person. She always insisted we call her "Bubbles"

I just found out about this....so sad. I loved her voice. She will be missed.

Wow! A strong voice even at the age of seven. A class act indeed!

I think she and Barbara Walters were really good friends. I wonder if Babs will pay tribute to her on the View....if she hasn't already.

I posted last week when it was announced that she was in a coma.

She had a knockout voice, and despite her fame, she never took herself too seriously.

Carol Burnett said this morning that she lost her best friend, and was devastated.

My Father had conducted for a performance she was in in our city back in the 70s. Now Dad was a no-name musician in a smaller city and she treated him like he was Bernstein. She was definitely a classy lady.
