Yea! Got my documents today:tongue: But now I have a question.... the last time we cruised, we simply packed our bottled water and wine in a suitcase.. checked it... and had no problems. We used the empty suitcase for all our souveniers. Upon reading the passport I noticed that it says you must "carry on" these items not larger than 9" x 14" x 22"..... so does this mean I can't pack them as I did before?

In the booklet that comes with the docs, DCL says that liquids must be transported inside carry-on luggage. Also, they "regret" that they are unable to accept checked luggage that contains beverage containers.

I'm sure that some people ignore these rules, and have no problems. But why take a chance?

I especially wouldn't check any glass bottles, no matter how well they are packaged.

We packed a case of beer and a twelve pack of soda with a collapsible cooler in our luggage that we checked at the port. No problems. However we did not pack much else in that bag so as not to ruin anything should something spill.

If you fly, remember there is now a 44 lb limit per bag, so some of that stuff may be too heavy.
