the points are the same... We miss the lower point week by a week but its too close to going back to school..

Crowds will probably be a little lighter in August than in late June. Both will be hot.

As long as you don't mind hot -- August.

...which is why it's better than the 2d week of August. That's what everyone else is thinking.

Its close, but I'd probably go with June.

The last week of June there are some schools still finishing up, especially if there was rough winter weather. Having been both of those times, I agree it is hot, but I didn't find the June humidity to be quite as rough.

Now if you could push back one more week in August, I might change my vote, since some schools/colleges would be starting up.
