Better to go Thanksgiving day or Friday after? (crowd levels)

Having always been a pass holder, we never went on holidays. But we don't have passes anymore. I know both days will be busy, but just wanted to get some feedback on which day might be worse. TIA!

I am sure both will be bad. But maybe Friday a bit worse, as one or two people may actually stay home for Thanksgiving and bring all the extended family on Friday.

I have been both of those days each of the last four years. Both are very busy. Subjectively, it seemed though that Thanksgiving Day was better than the Friday after, especially in the late afternoon and evening when many people took a break to eat.

Thanks! I was sad to hear it would be busy as in past years I'd always heard it was less crowded due to pass holders not being there. Ah well. A crowded Disney is better than no Disney!

The idea that major holidays are slow days at DLR is no longer true. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are 2 of the busiest times in the park. I still hear from people who plan their trips to DLR for those times because "everyone else will be with their families" -- yes, with their families at DLR!
