Better to go on a socal blockout date or not??

We are trying to decide which weekend day we want to have at Disney. We were thinking Sunday September 30th would be the best, however, I just noticed that Saturday the 29th is a Socal blockout date. Which is a better day to go for less crowds a Sunday or a Blockout Saturday?? Thanks!!

So it makes a considerable difference then? I was figuring they block socal out because they anticipate tourist counts to be higher, hence maybe worse crowds??? But that's not actually the case?

They block it out in order to possibly reduce crowd size. I would also choose Saturday over Sunday due to the blockout.

You know, I've avoided Saturdays for years because of crowds, but I went a on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago and it wasn't too bad. And in September I wouldn't worry about it too much. A weekday would be better still though.

I think the SoCal pass has every Saturday blacked out. There's one that has all Saturdays blocked out anyway.

Yes, we have our other 3 days planned for weekdays, but we wanted to get a weekend day in there too for shows and a later night. We've kinda always tried to avoid weekends too, as we are NOT crowd people! lol I am really glad to hear it's not too bad!

Saturdays are, without fail, always less crowded than Sundays.
