Sorry Im a little bit late posting! Our May 16-19/02 3 Day Wonder cruise was great! My DD4 had a wonderful time. This was our first DC and are planning another May 2003. The Bonvoyage party was fabulous. Disney does it right. From the moment we set sail to the moment we returned we were in a dream come true! The shows, service and food were all very well done. Highlights of our vacation, ( the whole cruise ) , HAHA, Dinning next to Rickki Lake in Palo's on Day3, Blue Lagoon excursion Day2, what a great time we had dancing on the ferry and the Island is very tropical and beautiful to see. Disney Dreams of course, was exceptional, our servers Vi and T, from Thiland were super people and always made us feel at home. Palo's meal for the adults was well worth the effort. Our last nights dinner at Animators Palate for my DD4 B-day was extra special, not only the theme show but the server's brought her out a Mickey cake all for herself, she was smiling Ear to ear. I could go on and on but will keep things short. Castaway Cay, what can I say, it was gorgeous, a great way to end the short cruise. We had a lot of sun and Konk coolers, spent sometime snorkelling at the adult beach, was very nice, got to see the Barracuda. All in all, we were totally impressed. Yes, DCL may be a bit more $$, but well worth it!

Thanks for posting, your photos are great. Blue Lagoon looks gorgeous. I may just have to do this excursion after seeing the picture -- can you tell us a bit about it??

We did the Disney's excursion Blue Lagoon Beach Day. It was $38.00/ adult and $23.00/child. It was on The Nassau day obviously and was from 9:15am till the last ferry left to come back to the docks at 4:00pm. We left the Wonder at 9:15am walked in a group over to the ferry boat docks about 10 min. walk, and boarded a ferry which takes you to Blue Lagoon. The ferry was about 40mins and was a lot of fun. There is a Junkanoo Rush Band on board that is very good, a bar with great Bahama mama's and Daddy's, beer and nothing like the Wonder. It was small and only a water taxi type boat. Your day is whatever you want to make of it. We brought our own snorkelling gear and snorkelled, the area is very scenic and the Island is quite large and beautiful. We laid around in Hammocks and explored the island. The picture is of the lagoon. It is great for young children. Very sandy and shallow. The water was turquois and the sand was white, great protected area for swimming. Lunch was provided, not the greatest but was alright. Chicken and pasta salad i think. Towels were included but water sports were extra. They had a nice change room facility and gift shop. Thats about it, very laid back and not a lot of people. A nice relaxing day! Bring lots of sunscreen and munchies from the ship. We left at 4:00 and was back and dressed for early seating dinner no problem. Hope this helps!:sunny:

I agree with mivvers, Blue Lagoon looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We went on a 3-day not too long after your family (our was from May 29-June 2.) Oh how I wish we could go back sometime soon!

Great quality pictures! Were those on a digital camera? It looks it from the aspect ratio. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Blue Lagoon is very nice! We were pleasantly surprised just how unique the island really was. The lagoon is very protected from the elements and is great for swimming. No large predators like the ocean side. We snorkelled out off the beach and once you got out through the cut in the reef the current was strong but you were amongst all natural reef and creatures. The life guards warn you of such things, barracuda lots and big, eels and the odd large shark. So it was risky but worth it. The island is very scenic and relaxing. Not alot to do but eat, drink, swim, snorkel, sight see and R&R. The dolphin swim and encounter is in the cove as you enter the islands dock. We checked it out, but it was expensive and the people thought it really wasn't worth the $$. We are definately going back on our 4 day cruise in May 2003. I will post more photos of Blue Lagoon. PS. My camera is digital, but not expensive. It is a Cannon Powershot A10 ( 1.3mp) but we were pleased with most of the shots. Your photos were also very nice, thank you for sharing.
