Better for Wishes Viewing - California Grill or Narcoossee's?

We will be dining at both California Grill and Narcoossee's on our upcoming trip. On one of the nights (but not both), we would like to time the reservation to watch Wishes from the restaurant. Which one is a better fireworks viewing experience, and why? Thanks!

I prefer the viewing from CG over Narcoosees. At both places, you will more than likely have to go outside to watch; it's rare to get a table with an unobstructed view. I think the viewing platforms at CG offer a better view than the docks at Narcoosees. Between the angle of the show and the fact that you will be looking down at CG vs up at Narcoosees.

I agree the view from CG is unobstructed and wonderful and you can hear the music. This is our #1 viewing spot for Wishes.

We did have a table with an unobstructed view when we ate at Narcoossee, but I didn't really care for the viewing angle. The fireworks don't appear to be anywhere near the castle from down there, so the elements that are supposed to "frame" the castle look pretty incongruous. It was interesting to see the fireworks from a vantage point other than Main Street, however. I'm glad we did it. We've never dined at California Grill during Wishes, but I'd like to and plan to on our next trip.

Well at the California Grill you will be as close to the Magic Kingdom without actually being there and the view is unobstructed, plus it's great when they play the music for Wishes.

They're about equal IMO. I do like being up high at CA Grill, but Narcoossees is never that crowded.

CG, hands down. When you're on the observation deck, the fireworks are more at eye level and you're closer to them.

We watched from CG last year for the first time and it was amazing! We hope to see them from Narcoossees

Cali Grill gets my vote!

To be honest, we hate waiting around in the MK to see the fireworks (too crowded). But at CG, you get wonderful service, great food and an unbeatable view. And when you are done, you jump in the monorail and go back to your resort. Thanks for reminding me... we need to make our reservations "up there"!
