Trying to eliminate one ADR for lunch as we have both Crystal Palace and Liberty Tree. Which has better food for lunch? Faster service? (I'm guessing CP since it is a buffet, but I could be totally wrong there.)

Also, can you share your experiences with Tony's? My two kids are obsessed with Lady and the Tramp. To the point where they play Bella Notte every time we have spaghetti (which is weekly, due to the aforementioned obsession.) Would DH and I enjoy it? I heard neg. reviews a long time ago but nothing recently.

Thanks!

Meg

We ate at LTT and Tony's in May of this year...While I really liked the character interaction at LTT I thought the food could be a little better. (Mostly frozen entree style food...but the desert was great!)...Tony's was very good (the food portion) in my opinion...however, the waiter could have been a little better (slow and no re-fills) PLUS, if you children like lady and the tramp, there is a lady and the tramp fountain in the center of the dining area and they play the movie in the waiting area! I can't comment on Crystal palace...it is on our list to try next trip.

Never eaten at LTT or CP for Lunch but have done both for dinner. I'd personally ditch LTT lunch as you order off menu and from what I can gather it's basically fancy counter service with frozen entrees heated to order. CP is buffet and you could eat as fast or slow as you wanted but if there for characters it may take about hour to see them all at your table.

I personally love Tony's as I'm like kids big L+T fan. I love food here and usually get 5 chees pizza at lunch but spaattei is wonderful to. They also have lots of other choices.

also no characters at lunch ltt

My wife & I love Lady & The Tramp, so, we decided to try Tony's for lunch on our last trip there. The atmosphere does have a lot of pictures from L&TT there, but otherwise is not especially themed.

The food, however, that's another story. I'm not going to say it's great or awful, that's subjective. All I can suggest is, if you enjoy Buitoni pasta, you'll probably enjoy Tony's food. If you don't, you probably won't. If you've never tried Buitoni, pick some up at your local supermarket & try it for relatively little money before deciding whether or not to book your ADR there.

Enjoy the Magic, whatever you decide!

Dh and I are eat at Tony's this trip as we can't get in LTT which was my first choice. The operator at Disney suggested Tony's. I just hope I am not disappointed.

The pasta at Tony's is not great, but the NY strip steak was really worth the meal for me. DH had the baked ziti and it was very dry. The service was AWFUL. We were there in September for free dining....nearly died of thirst before I got another iced tea.

OK, we ate at all three of these places on our 10/5-10/14 trip. At CP we had breakfast, and LTT and Tony's were both dinner. So I won't be much help regarding lunch, however....

The service at LTT was great! The food was VERY GOOD despite what some other DISers told me, we all really enjoyed this meal

CP is really good, the service is average and it's a buffet so you serve yourself. The only thing that stinks is that if you are up getting food when a character comes around, you won't see him again before you leave (unless you plan on being there for 2 hours)

Tony's was less than so-so. The menu was very limited (6 items I think). I had the NY Strip which was very good, but they didn't give us steak sauce and our server dissappeared after dropping off our meals so I never got to ask for it. My DB and DBF both has spaghetti and meatballs and both complained that the pasta was undercooked, lukewarm at best, there was hardly any sauce and it had no flavor anyway.

HTH!
