This is kind of scary.... I spent two or three phone calls and a lot of time on making previous reservations for myself on one occasion and a nephew on a separate vacation--two weeks after mine.
His vacation involved my use of DVC Cash rate for his first 3 nights and then another DVC member had reserved his last four nights on points. These two reservations were linked; however, when I check on mine today for a time frame two weeks earlier, MS told me that his was showing linked to mine!
And his Deluxe Dining was showing for some days, but not others. This was strange, since MS had quoted me a total for the 7 days of dining.
I was able to change some of the cash reservations to points and relink all of his days. He ended up with 4 reservations linked (since the cash rate day fell in the middle.
While on the phone, this same cast member at MS also told me that my reservation for myself was not showing linked as I had earlier done. My reservation involved the first night (reserved from another member as I was short on points) a second night from my one of my memberships, and the last
five nights from my second membership--
Her name was Elvira and she was very courteous, patient, proficient and spent a long time redoing everything! I asked to do the survey to compliment her and also wrote a note to DVC Member Satisfaction.
But the overall situation has me concerned because I had thought everything was in order from my prior phone calls. Now I feel as though I must check out all my reservations more than once to make sure everything is okay---especially when they involve linking.
