Better alone or with friends?

We are going with my sister and her husband in 2 weeksish, this will be the second time we have all went..so it can't be that bad. We have 3 kids and they have none, we almost do everything together with the exception of a few hours each day. Think it helps if everybody is wanting the same thing out of the holiday.
Don't see the point in stressing about whether they will enjoy it as that takes away the enjoyment for both of us.

I went with my brother, his wife and 2 kids.

I vowed never ever to go on holiday with family ever again after that. Nightmare from start to finish.

Its too much for 2 weeks, I think the idea of a holiday is to spend time with your wife or kids because life is busy enough, going with friends or other family detracts from the whole aim of a holiday, which is to relax and chill out and spend great time with the ones you really love the most.

Same for me and my brother - I just cannot relax when I'm around others, I'm too worried if they are enjoying themselves. After all, it's my holiday too! We also meet up with lots of US/Canadian friends while we are in Orlando, so we are not totally alone, but I couldn't share accommodation ever again!

we always holiday with our best friends. we had 2.5 weeks together and had a blast. infact my parents were there too. I can't imagine doing Disney without my parents and my best friends. we did break off sometime to do our own things (32 weeks preg, I spent most afternoons at the hotel. they took it in turns who came with me) but the rest of the time the 6 of us were together. friends and family are what makes our holidays
