I am thinking of staying offsite for the first time this summer looking at 7/26/09-7/31/09. Any help or comments on this hotel? Also like I mentioned I have never stayed offsite before when I am going to go in for early entry do I go right up to the turnstiles? Are both sides of the entrance opened at the same time? I don't have to go through a garage do I? THanks :confused3

It's a decent hotel, we've only stayed there once for 1 night but we had no problems with it.

For MM you go to the turnstiles, they will let you in there. There is no garage to go thru, you just cross Harbor and walk up to security and into the esplanade.

Super easy. You just walk across the street and there ya are. It's a decent enough hotel, free breakfast next door. It's so nice not to have to drive in and park.

easy peezie lemon squeezie :rotfl2:

Last November VacationDad posted the following about the BWPPI's better room locations: :goodvibes

"We have stayed there a few times, and we always ask for the 3rd (upper floor), north side of the building. Much of the parking for the hotel faces in to the rooms on the bottom floor so you get headlights and car noises you won’t get as much on other floors. The north side of the building is the side away from Cpt. Kidds restaurant. I understand that they sometimes get early morning deliveries and you can hear the delivery trucks.
We stay at BWPPI because of their “mini-suites” rooms which have 2 queen beds and a fold-out couch. Last time we went we had room 369 (I think). It was about 8 – 10 room back from the front of the hotel which worked great. This is our favorite place to stay when we go to DLR."
