I would like some suggestions on excellent board games that an entire family can play together (Mom, Dad, 6 year old, and almost 4 year old).
I wanted to bring a cute family game as a small gift for my sister-in-law and her family for hosting a Christmas Eve gettogether. The kids are ages 6 and almost 4 (will be 4 in January), so it has to be a very simple, lighthearted game that even the littlest one can play.
They have just learned how to play Monopoly Junior Party Edition and the almost-4-year-old has some trouble with understanding the rules of the game but is slowly catching on. So, something at least that simple would be good. They have a few board games but I'm not totally sure what all they have. They have Mouse Trap, Cooties, and Hungry Hippos, and I think Candyland and Hi-Ho Cherry-O and I'm sure a few other "classics".
