Getting ready to book a 4 night cruise on the Wonder. What was the best and/or worst verandah cabin you ever stayed in...or have they all been WONDER-ful!!!!!

We've only sailed once, be we stayed in Room 8050 (category 4). We loved it. Mid-ship, close to the elevators and the stairs, but far enough away that we heard no noise from those areas. Our room faced the dock at Castaway Cay.

We had room 6600 [cat 6] in Sept.I would say toward the end-part of mid ship. It was very nice, A "pixie-dust special" I might add, we had booked a cat 8 w/ a port window [5018]. Happy Sailing!

For us the best and only has been a midship suite (deck 8), nice long verandah. :cool1: Even if the neighbors smoke, no problem, we're too far away to notice.

Depends on how many people you are booking for. If for 1-3 people then book any of these cabins if available, 6134, 6634, 7120, 7620. They are reclassified cat. 5's and cat. 6's and are now cat. 7's, so priced lower. The 4 cabins only hold 3 people. You can see pics of them in the stateroom pics links in the FAQ sticky.

Try to avoid being right below Topsiders (or whatever it's called on The Wonder). We had one of those and we were awakened every single morning by people dragging/dropping their chairs. It was really bad and very upsetting. We also had a room mid-ship right below the pool and the workers would wake us up around 6 by putting out (i.e., DROPPING) the lounge chairs. We complained both times and both times were compensated in some small way, but you really can't put a price on your relaxing, much-needed sleep!:confused3

We recently stayed in 7050 and 7052 (connecting rooms) and loved it. Mid-ship right near the elevators. I was originally worried it might be too loud but we never had any problems. 2 quicks flights up to deck 9 and 2-3 flights down to dining or kids clubs.
The night of the pirates in the carribean my daughter had a headache so we went down to our cabin and watched the fireworks from our verandah. I highly recommend!

We recently stayed in 6030 and loved it. It was very quiet.

Our next trip we are in 8002 - anyone have input on it?

We just stayed in 6570 with our friends in 6568 - they were both great. Mid Ship on Deck 6 and we were close to everything. No noise at all frm the elevators or the laundry room that was close by.

We had great views of Castaway Cay and The Flying Dutchman while we were docked at CC, and on our trip, the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas (their HUGE new ship) was docked on our side at Nassau. That is one BIG ship...too big for me, it was insane!

Check out the stateroom reports on the board, that may help you if you have specific room numbers in mind.
