Anything that you think a young child would really enjoy? Anything specifically to miss (too boring, to scary, etc.). Thanks!! :)

It's not really a major attraction but, my then 3yo loved the coca-cola igloo. It was great to cool down and she loved trying all the different kinds of Coke since she usually is not allowed to drink soda. She also loved playing in the fountains, this year my 3 and 6yo are looking forward to Turtle talk.

As far as too scary, when we went last time we made the mistake of taking DD to HISTA. Way too intense for her age at the time (3).

I agree with the other poster, Turtle Talk is great for young kids, and they probably will enjoy looking at the Living Seas aquarium. Your little one might enjoy Journey Into Imagination with Figment and the Kodak Labs after the show, my kids especially enjoyed the floor where you step on different pictures and it makes the sounds of the picture. Also, the HISTA scared the pants off my DS4, way too loud, but he is very sensitive to loud noises.

Took my DD to WDW when she was 2 mos shy of 3. Epcot was not her favorite day by far.

Universe of Energy - NO those Dinosaurs at the beginning scared her big time.
Innovations - YES anything she could be hands on for.
Living Seas - YES she loved looking at the fish. Didn't see Turtle Talk but look forward to it this year.
Imagination - HISTA - NO Figment & Lab, YES

This same trip she LOVED Muppet 3D and PhilarMagic, so not sure what got her in HISTA.

Also, World Showcase can be boring at that age. Do the KidCots and hunt down the characters to add some excitement.

Have fun!

I would second the fountains. Our dd 3 the first time and 4 the second needed that time to just get energies out. This made our trip more relaxing because she was more relaxed.

My then 3yo was just barely tall enough to ride Test Track, and he loved every bit of it. Begged to go back again and again, much to his older sibings' delight. :-D

My 5 year old got hysterical in Honey I shrunk the audience.
My 7 year old was a bit better.

Turtle talk was great. My 5 year old did love test track and both kids loved soaring. For a 3 year old , probably too young.

We went in September and our dd's(3.5) favorite ride in Disney was SOARIN'. She rode it multiple times. We were really surprise because she isn't really into the rides as much. She also loved the kidstops in EPCOT and the characters seemed easier to access in the World Showcase. Turtle Talk was closed when we were there but the cm gave it great reviews. She also loved the light show/fireworks. Have a great trip :sunny:

Thanks for the all the info. I guess we'll definitely skip HISTA. But I'll definitely look for the kidcot stops and fountains. I'm wondering how he'll do with the rides. We'll have spent the day before at MK so I guess I'll have a better gauge of how adventurous he's going to be.

My DS was 2.5 when we went in October and we found several things he liked in Epcot. His favorite was the "Space Ball" aka Spaceship Earth. It's long and seemingly boring to a kid, but he loved it. He also loved Journey into Your Imagination. I know he would have also loved the Living Seas, but it was under rehab at the time. He liked the boat ride in Mexico and Honey I Shrunk the Audience, but didn't ask to go on them again. Watching fountains, riding the boat, and just walking around were also just fine with him.

I don't know your kids ages, but my 3 y/o did the Nestle cookie thing fo rthe first time this past trip. My oldest DD has done it many times, and probably would not have wanted to do it, but she did to be with her little sister. There were other kids around 3 or 4 doing it with no sibling to help. And that's something that we can ALL enjoy when they're finished(DD9 hates cookies anyway).

I agree about HISTA, I don't even like it. My kids are short so Test Track dosen't usually become an option for them until later . Have fun.

My DD loves:

Spaceship Earch (her favorite)
Living Seas aqaurium
Turtle Talk with Crush
El Rio Del Tiempo (Boat Ride in Mexico)
Fountains
Chinese Acrobats
Journey into Imagination

She likes Living with Land ok and will tolerate Maelstrom but the trolls scare her a bit.

Surprisingly enough, all my kids love looking in some of the shops around World Showcase, Mexico and China in particular. They 2 younger ones have wanted to do the kidcot stations but we haven't had a chance to do that yet. Maybe this year. We love EPCOT!

Just got back with our DD 3.5 and DS 2. They loved epcot, we actually spent almost 2 full days there.

In WS-
Mexico- they loved the ride there (both named this their favorite ride of the trip, I have no idea why!). They also loved looking at the items for sale there. Loved trying on the big hats & trying the Mexican instruments. They have a Kidstop there where they can make masks. I think we spent about 2 hours in this pavilion.
Norway-DD loved Maelstrom, DS was a little scared.
Germany- they loved the big train set they have outside.
They really enjoyed walking around the rest of the world, especially seeing any shows. Loved the fife & drum band in front of the U.S. pavilion. We stayed at the Baordwalk so we did this walk a lot & every time there was something new that they noticed.

On the other side-
HISTA- both hated this and had to leave in the middle of it. This was the only ride or movie in any of the parks that they did not like.
Figment- DS loved it & went on 3 times, DD only once.
Crush- both LOVED this
Living Seas- liked the fish
Living with the Land- both LOVED this. Went on it 3 times.
Spceship Earth-both loved this

Not sure why, but we didn't see any characters in Epcot, maybe our timing was just off, bit the kids didn't seem to notice. Epcot was a lot of fun though.
