I have found every other answer on these boards so I have a new question...In your opinion(s) where are the best/cleanest/least crowded bathrooms :flower: and why did you rate it such? Where are the worst/not so clean/over crowded bathrooms  and why did you rate it such at WDW. We are going with 2 toilet trained toddlers so I am sure we will be making many pit stops. We will be hitting the 4 parks and 2 waterparks. I know I have come across public bathrooms that I wouldn't let my worst enemies into. I don't remember any issues at Disney but it has been 6 years so lets see what everyone thinks...

The bathrooms by the ToT and RnR tend to be very busy. Can't think of any other ones offhand

I love the bathrooms at the Poly!!

but not the ones in between frontierland/adventureland.

I don't remember Mickey's house (in Toontown) having a bathroom. What is a poor mouse to do? How can he rule his kingdom without a throne? Maybe that explains the "water" squirting out of the ground at Donald's dock. ;)

I found the restrooms to be few and far between. However, I was traveling with someone in a wheelchair.

I think that they need to make the signs more apparant for those of us who are trying to battle the "crowds" .

Just my thoughts.

There is a bathroom in Toontown. It is on the left hand side of the first building on the left after you walk through the main entrance. I remember it well because my little girl had a temper tantrum outside of the ladies room door and I made her take a time out on the bench nearby :teeth:

I agree with the post about the ones near ToT being crowded! An inconvenient bathroom is in LTT in MK - it is up a narrow staircase. Also agree that the one between Frontierland and Adventureland is a busy spot - I've never had to wait, but the traffic is always moving in and out. At MGM the one down by Catastrophe Canyon is usually pretty busy. Oh, and the one in AK in Asia is usually the worst of the trip - all those dripping wet people going in to try to get dried off make it crowded and wet.

One that never seems crowded is between Caseys and Crystal Palace - it is so off the path you really need to be walking on that particular path to see it. I don't think the one by Space Mountain has ever seemed too busy either. If you go to AKL to visit the animals or eat, the restroom in the lobby area is very nice! Also in AK the one near Dinosaur is hard to find but never seems busy.

The absolutely least used rest rooms are in the Odyssey building. This used to be a restaurant but now is used for special activities. A few things are scheduled there during the Food & Wine Festival. The Odyssey sits at the border of Future World and World Showcase. If you didn't know better you would not know you could use the rest rooms. There are two sets of rest rooms on different sides of the building. Always clean and quiet since few people know about them.
Another really quiet spot is on the second floor of the Columbia Harbor House in the Magic Kingdom. Upstairs has a large seating area that most people don't know about. I don't think there are signs, but the rest rooms are in a back area. We were there last month and surprised at how quiet it was up there while the downstairs eating area was a madhouse.

Ive had the Not so great Pleasure of having to take my DD to it 2 times.. Why is it only 2 stalls??
Took me over 30 min each time with maybe 2-3 ladies in front of me..

Horrible!!

Favorite bathroom in Disney.. The one in my room... LOL..

I liked the bathroom in Rafikis Planet Watch best. On the inside of the stall doors are big posters titled The Scoop on Poop. Each one has different info on, well, poop. Interesting reading while you go.

Worst was the bathroom at Akershus. Dozens of unaccompanied little girls struggling to manage their Princess costumes in a tiny 3 stall bathroom. Unbelieveably long wait there.

:rotfl: You just made me recall our visit to this "attraction" last summer. Just try and cop a squat with children all around you utilizing their new-found reading skills. Most entertaining

Last summer at MGM we found the restrooms near Star Tours (across the way) to be uncrowded and reasonably clean.

I could have sworn there was one near the Diamond Horse Shoe Salon (is that the name....they served cookies and hot chocolate at Christmas) and it was nice, big and clean. Good luck

I remember reading that hippos twirl their tails around while they are pooping to spead the poop around. Later that day, we witnessed this feat. We laughed so hard!! My son was only 8 at the time (16 now), but he talks about that everytime I mention the AK.

Hiya folks,

Best bathrooms in my book are Rafiki's Planet Watch at the Animal Kingdom and anything in the AKL or the Polynesian resorts.

Worst bathrooms are anything at the Magic Kingdom. Consistantly filthy!! I don't know what's wrong over there, but they are not managing custodial stuff well anymore. If you have to go, stick to a potty inside Columbia Harbor House (upstairs), the back of Cosmic Ray's, or the ones down behind the Space Mountain area that no one knows about. I wouldn't be surprised if even all those are filthy.

My darling boyfriend went to use the "Prince" bathroom next to Peter Pan, in Fantasyland, on Memorial Day weekend, and some horrid man had left a PILE :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: He said the whole bathroom reeked and was just generally wall to wall trash. Not the Magic Kingdom I remember!

Come on MK management, get it together!

I'm not a fan of the bathrooms outside Test Track and Mission:Space at EPCOT...they ARE very convienent...however, many people get sick in there from Mission:Space.

The BEST bathrooms are at AKL...I don't know what it is...but they are beautiful, smell nice, and clean! The bathrooms down by the pool were, by far, the best!

I would say the ones at Rafiki's Planet watch are the 2nd best - gotta love the built in reading material. hehehe Scoop on Poop...heheheh

Trust me...I like to consider myself a bathroom expert...DH says I have the bladder of a 2 year old (I drink alot of water!) and between my FIL and I...I think we hit EVERY bathroom in WDW at least once during our family trip in December. hehehe

I will tell ya this...after waiting in long lines to use the ladies room at concerts this weekend...I gotta give WDW a hand - I've never had a long "wait" in any bathroom.

Sssshhhhhh!!! I've been trying to keep that a secret. Now it is out and I will have to share. There goes my vacation down the toilet...so to speak.

This makes me want to seek that one out. I love that kind of trivia.

In my first 68 years of life I have obviously not given nearly enough thought to the process of poop. My education is lacking.

I love this board.

I could have sworn that someone once made an entire website out of the best and worst restrooms at WDW. I can't find it now, naturally.

I have two favorites: the restroom across from the Rose and Crown is wonderful, not too crowded and always clean (in my experience).

AND the restroom as you're leaving Epcot via the International Gateway. I swear a cleaning person lives in there.

:flower:

I recall the ones by Mission Space always smelling like vomit :crazy2:

Also I remember the ones in Epcot next to Morrocco not being the cleanest when we stopped there.

Not in the parks, but I remember the restrooms in WL, just outside the entrance to Whispering Canyon, were impressive. I get a weird kick out of the fact that the theming is continued in the bathrooms.

I second the agreement that the restrooms between FantasyLand & Adventure Land are BUSY (and confusing if you go out the wrong entrance).

It may have been due to the rainstorm, but I remember the restrooms where Main St. transitions to Tomorrowland (just before you reach what is now the Noodle Bowl counterservice) were not that busy. Weren't spectacularly clean, but didn't look heavily utilized.

With two tots, it may benefit you to study up on the location of the family restrooms. We've frequented three - just behind Pete's garage at the entrance to ToonTown in MK; near the souvie shop in Dinoland at MK (I think it's opposite Primevil Whirl); and outside the exit of RNR at MGM. All three were not that busy & decently clean.
