What is the best/worst food you've had at Sci-Fi? Thinking about changing an ADR once again!:faint:

My husband and I go for a late lunch (between 2 and 3). We can get the burgers which are pretty big and last us through the traditional dinner time. Their toppings are mushrooms, bacon, and sauteed onions. Cheese choices are Swiss or Cheddar. You can get all or some or none. Next time we are ordering the onion rings to come along with lunch and having the other sides offered to be held back.

I don't know if they still have it, but I was quite suprised at how great the popcorn cheesecake was. It sounded a bit iffy, but I tend to try things that I wouldn't normally try when I am on the dining plan, so I went for it. It was really great!
I don't recall what I ate there for the meal or the appetizer, but I remember enjoying the meal. Must not have been too fantastic though, or I'd remember it better!

We always stop in for a late lunch to get out of the heat and unwind .. you can't go wrong with their cold shakes :)

No worsts....just bests: milkshakes, burgers and veggie burgers (made upon request)....we find the food is great and burgers and milkeshakes at the drive-in, what more could you ask for???

We like the burgers with fries. I am a "plain" person so I just order a plain burger.

We ordered our DD, age 2, the fruit dessert plate for lunch a couple weeks ago. I thought that was very good for her, actually and quite large so we could also steal a couple pieces of fruit.

The burgers and milkshakes are good. As for the appetizers, you can't go wrong with the onion rings. The spinach and artichoke dip is good too. The chili was tasty enough but a fairly small portion so maybe not a good choice for big eaters, it was enough for me but I doubt I'll order it again as I just prefer the onion rings and the dip. I wasn't crazy over the ribs, I'll stick with burgers from here on out. I did not like the apple crisp dessert.

The burgers and chix sands are great. Make sure you also enjoy a "glowtini" with your meal. :rotfl:

I had the bbq chicken sandwich last year and it was awful. Really dry. The waiter saw that I wasn't eating it and brought me another one. It was much better. Onion rings were great and definitely the milkshakes are a keeper. DH got a shrimp pasta dish (I think) and he didn't like it. My BIL got the same thing and he didn't like it either.

I made my DH get a cheeseburger based on the reviews on the Dis! Everything else seems to get negative comments. We did think they were good. I am a dissenter with the milk shake. I didn't think it was anything great. We really enjoyed our meal there though it is not a must do every trip.

I agree with other posters about the shrimp pasta dish ,it wasn't anything special!!I loved the onion rings, dip and the oreo cookie milkshake. I was not impressed with the apple dessert either. The others had steak and liked them!!I would try something else next time!

We had never eaten at Sci-Fi until our June trip 2006 and saved it for the last day of the trip. I didn't tell anyone where we were going so they wouldn't know what to expect - boy they were so surprised! Our group loved the novelty of it even as old as we all were (2 adults, DD and best friend, 18 and 15 yo DS). Everyone had a burger except for me (BBQ chicken sandwich but I had them put the BBQ sauce on the side and got extra mayo) onion rings, milkshakes (to die for!) and DH got some kind of glowing mixed drink. We all enjoyed the food and I think we all left food on our plates as the portions were large. The service was good. I only wish they made the on screen movie loop a little longer since by the time you leave you can recite the actor's lines!

Even if you just stop in for a rest and a milkshake it's worth it to go into, see and cool off or rest for awhile!

I was thinking of us going in for lunch and splitting 1 TS credit between me and DH, since all the pictures I've seen do look like such large portions. And also b/c we have a dinner ADR at Chefs de France that night. Have any of you split a TS credit here with another adult?

And to DisneyClay, I can answer your question! I saw a pic on the food porn thread of Sci-Fi and the poster had gotten a table (that is between a car front and back, not a bench seat) and said it was great if you are "pooh" sized! I was looking at the pics to get an idea of the tables to see if there was some kind where me, DH, and DD6 could sit where we could face each other, so one wouldn't have to sit behind the others alone.

I had the shrimp pasta dish and it was AWFUL....I'll spare you the details but I was sick the rest of the day....really sick... On the flip side my kids had the hamburger/fries and loved it. We aren't going back this year - we are trying 50's Prime Time instead..

we have been there the last 3 WDW visits, sicne my DS loves the atmosphere so much! But I find the food just getting grosser each time! Dont get me wrong we can always find something , but . . . had enough of this place now moving on . . . .

Always like the burgers, onion rings, fries and shakes, not all at once though!

I didn't like the chili. Too gloopy.
