My kids are 2, 5 and 7. DH and I have dined in WS w/o kids, but haven't tried it yet with them in tow. What restaurants do you recommend? I'm considering Alfredo's, Teppanyaki, San Angel or possibly Biergarten if there's anything they would eat there. I'd like a place with kid-friendly food and a kid-friendly atmosphere. I'd also like to dine someplace my DH and I haven't, so that leaves out France, Rose and Crown and Canada.
Thanks!

We have eaten with our kids in Japan and Mexico and they actually prefer Japan. THe menu is kids friendly and they enjoyed watching them cook at the table. Both times, in Japan, they were really friendly. My kids, 7 and 9 now, still want to go back to Japan. We ate their last year and two years ago. We have eaten in Mexico since they were one. THe atmosphere is nice, however, they do not keep asking to go back there.

Teppanyaki is a great choice in terms of food. I've seen a lot of young children there happily eating. I've never eaten at Biergarten but I think there or Teppanyaki are probably good choices, especially if your children might get loud or fussy because the atmosphere is more boisterous. For this reason, I'd probably avoid San Angel Inn. We found the food to be pretty good, but a little overpriced for what you got. Also, the atmosphere tends more toward romantic with the dim lighting and the "river." I don't know if you'd ever considered it, but Marrakesh is pretty good too. The kids would like the belly-dancing and may even join in. I don't think food would be an issue there with the kids, as it's good but tends toward bland rather than exotic. They probably even have the standard chicken fingers/mac-n-cheese kid's menu.

We ate at San Angel with our 2 DS's ages 4 and (then) 7 mos, and a cousin's twin DS's ages 8. The boys loved the atmosphere and there was a kids menu with chicken fingers, quesadillas, etc. so there was no need to worry about what they would eat if they didn't like Mexican food. They all loved the chips, but the salsa was way too hot for their little mouths!!

We have eaten twice at Teppanyaki with our kids. The first time they were ages 2, 5 and 8 (close to yours). They loved it and wanted to return the next year. They have the young children sit at the end of the table where the grill is not very hot. That and LeCellier are the only restaurants in World Showcase we have taken the kids to and they liked Teppanyaki best. HTH
