I'm trying to add some songs to my MP3 so that I give that little extra during a workout. I've noticed that I can run a little faster or a little longer when I hear:

Kryptonite - Three Doors Down
Stonger - Kanye West
Sexyback - Justin Timberlake

Anyone have songs that help keep them going?

Those songs are good choices...I also like:

- Beyonce; not so much her slower songs, but definitely the fast ones!
- Madonna; her songs are great since most of them have a good beat you can move to

Those are the only 2 I can think about right now but I will post more if I can think of them.

Since I live in the Midwest, and it's winter about half the year, :rotfl: , I will sometimes turn on my music to a shuffle and dance around while I'm doing dishes, cleaning, etc. It's not a lot but it's better than nothing and I'm not going outside in the weather we're having!

Although I dont aprrove of her parenting skills, Britneys recent songs have been great to work out to!

Break the Ice is my favourite! :) Also I bet Womanizer would be pretty good!

Oooh - and if Rhianna "Please dont stop the music" or Whitney "I wanna dace with somebody" comes on while I'm lagging or feeling like I want to give up they both give me a boost!

As do Culo, and Gasolina. Most songs with a good Spanish beat are great for workouts! bring back Ricky Martin!!

My current faves:

"Rainy Monday" by Shiny Toy Guns
"Never Again" by Kelly Clarkson
"Numb/Encore" by Jay-Z and Linkin Park
"Whiskey Girl" by Toby Keith
"Nothin' but a Good Time" by Poison
"Fighter" by Christina Aguilera
"Damaged" by Danity Kane
"Human" by The Killers
"Stronger" by Britney Spears
"Alone" by Heart
"We Belong" by Pat Benatar
"Summer of 69" by Bryan Adams
"Your Love" by the Outfield

I'm sure I have lots more. I go through lots of songs. After listening to it 3 or 4 times I'm over it.

I've currently got a thing going for Katy Perry, Coldplay and Pink. Pink is just. . .Pink. Fun and strong. Katy Perry's lyrics are humourous but vaguely offensive in an intentional way. Coldplay. . .hmm. Their current album is about war, more or less, so the lyrics are interesting. I'm currently addicted to Violet Hill. A love song about a WWII battle ground just outside of Hong Kong set to a drummer's beat? Good stuff.

I am always looking for some good songs...

2 VERY good songs for the lyrics and the beat are:

The Middle - by Jimmy Eat World
Jump - by Madonna on her Confessions album

I couldn't exercize without them!
