Anyone know how fast best western park place fills up? That’s where we want to stay next time. I was just playing with dates on the Disney site and see that they are full for this July already. We are thinking July 2019. I can’t book that far ahead on the Disney site. I can book the room that far in advance on their private site. Will my card be charged if I book now or just hold the spot? Anyone know?

Don't book through Disney; book direct. You'll likely get a better deal booking your stuff separately, anyway. Disney probably reserves a number of rooms through their Good Neighbor hotel packages; it'll be those that are booked, not all the rooms.

I just took a look at some random dates in July this summer, and they're showing plenty of availability.

You guys are right it’s just the Disney vacation packages that are full. If I go to their direct website they show availability. We want to go July next year.

Check out Dessert Inn & Suites. I have stayed at both. If you have more than 3 people I would see if DI&S is cheaper or close in price. We loved having more room to spread out in the evenings with 4 of us. We booked a suite with 1.5 bathrooms and were upgraded to one with 2 full bathrooms. Everyone had their own bed. 3 TV's, micro., fridge.

We stay there or next door (PVI) every trip. They do indeed fill up fast and can be totally full two+ months before a trip even in the slowest times.
Best to book very early!
