Best Western Raffles

Hello all!

Just wondering who has stayed at the Best Western Raffles? Did you like it? What did you not like? Would you recommend any other Best Western over this? We are a family of 3, husband, wife and a son who won't yet but 2 on the trip. We may also be bringing sister-in-law and 12 year old niece. If SIL and niece come we would like to share a room to save on cost.

I have not stayed at Raffles, but upon considering hotels for my upcoming trip, I talked to my TA about all of the Best Westerns. She did mention that she had just heard back from a client that she booked at Raffles and they had an awful experience. I guess they had a leak in the room, and called front desk, but did not get any help. This is after check in, where they were supposed to have a suite or double beds. They gave a family of 4 a king room. The man went to front desk asking for a change and they would not accomodate him. He called the TA and she put him up at another hotel, but it cost a bit more. He was very angry. She did say that Stovall's had just undergone a nice renovation and she had just sent her daughter there for her recent vacation. Hope this helps some. This could have just been an off-day thing, b/c it does happen, but thought I should share it with ya. Have a great trip!

We stayed here 2 years ago and loved it. There was me, 2 nieces, friend, cousin, cousin's husband, and his 2 sisters. The pool is away from all of the rooms so it stayed open alte and we could swim or hot tub after the park. We had the family suite, 2 beds and bathroom with another room attached that had bunk beds and sofa bed with a bathroom. None of us ever got up early enough for the breakfast but everything else was just fine.
