Hello,

My wife and I are visiting over New Years and are trying to find an affordable hotel (under 99 a night). I came across the BWP Raffles Inn and with their govt rate it would be under budget. We are aware of the distance from DLR but We would most likely just use the ART. Has anyone ever stayed here before? Any pros/cons to it? Thanks for your input.

While I haven't stayed at the Raffles Inn and Suites , DH and I have stayed at Best Western Plus Stovall's Inn for an extended stay and it was really nice. We had great beds and the room was big enough to invite about 10 people over to join us - we were there for a combination of Blizzcon and honeymoon at DL.

We previously stayed at Best Westerns all the time before I started working for Marriott and I would go back there again in a heartbeat. It may not be the resort experience but the rooms were spacious and clean and though no indoor hallways the noise was extremely low for being around the corner from Katella.

I found the rooms to be clean and kept daily , we always returned to the room refreshed and the whole experience was positive. The first day we walked to DL and it still only took about 15 - 20 minutes. We found ART was more convenient for our trip however. There is a ticket machine right inside the lobby. I know this isn't the hotel you are looking at but I hope this helps some or anyone else looking to stay in the area at a good price.

Here are some photos of the room and outside :

Another view - Notice how the bathroom counter holds alot of alcohol LOL. Also there is a mini fridge that is hard to see on the bottom right hand side

Astylla,

Thanks for the great pics! :)Its funny you posted that hotel. We have stayed there before and were happy with its easy access to the ART. Raffles just has a better price for us.

We just stayed at Raffles two weeks ago. I was a little worried about it, but I was pleasantly surprised! Our room was very clean, loved the hard floors instead of carpet. TVs are outdated, but we weren't there to watch TV. Everything else was great. It was too cold to swim, but I know they mentioned to me they were renovating that soon. Breakfast was good with some protein options. We walked to Toy Story Lot and that also worked out good. I would stay there again.

No problem :) Better price is always a good thing ! Just wanted to post some pics of a similar Best Western for reference to help if I could. I have always had great experiences with them personally. :)
