Thank you all for answering all of my questions. I currently have Disneyland Hotel reserved for my one night stay but seriously can't afford it. I'm willing to do it, though, to make my one day in the parks with my daughter less stressful. I just discovered the Best Western Mini Suites across from the main entrance. It looks like it might actually be closer to the parks than the Disneyland Hotel. It is much more affordable, gets really good reviews, and has free breakfast. Other than the Disney ambiance and package delivery, is it as convenient to stay at as an onsite hotel? Thanks.

If you're talking about Best Western Park Place Inn "BWPPI", it's a favorite for many.
While I've never stayed there, the location is great.
When I don't stay on-site, my first choice is the Tropicana and second choice is the Desert Inn & Suites
The Tropicana is few yards north of BWPPI and DI&S is the a few yards south.
Any of the places on Harbor near the crosswalk aren't stressful to get to the parks.
While it isn't the true Disney Bubble, it will be a lot easier on the budget.

We have stayed there several times. The DL Hotel is not how we choose to budget our money, so we are very happy at the BWPPI. It is so close (closer than the DL Hotel), has breakfast, decent wifi, decent beds. That's all we need! Our time is spent in the parks. It is certainly very convenient.

We have stayed there twice and like it. Outside of some rooms in the Grand I believe it has some of the closest rooms to the parks. The breakfast is decent and very convenient and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

You really can't beat the convenience of the walk, it's only a bit further than the walk to the Toy Story lot and hotel shuttles.

It is our go-to hotel. Just as everyone else said, it is close (closer than The Disneyland Hotel), free breakfast, clean, and newly refurbished rooms. We are only in our room in the morning and at bed time, so we have no desire to spend a fortune for a hotel room that we are never in. :)

Very nice for anyone who needs a normal room. I had gotten several rooms for the family and they were huge. My wife and I needed a handicap room in front. It is about 3/4 of the size of the other rooms and trying to fit a scooter and wheelchair in the room is tight. Am going to find another hotel for a larger handicap room.
