Best Western Park Place Inn

Yes they do.
You have the choice of pancakes with fruit topping in the main level of the restaurant next door to the hotel.
OR go upstairs at same location and have a continental style .. cold and hot cereal, fruit, danish, coffee, milk, juice, toast.

They give you vouchers for each day /person when you check in.

Nothing spectacular but it's free! :thumbsup2

Thank you!

Since our next trip will be our "economy" trip. "Nothing fancy and free" will be just fine for breakfast! We're not super hungry in the mornings anyways and that will give us a good start to the day.

:)

In 2005 they gave us free vouchers to eat breakfast at Captain Kidds next door. I believe that is still the policy.

However, we did not use the vouchers. My two cents (FWIW) is that at DLR breakfast is the one meal that is most likely to disrupt your timing and result in you getting to the parks late. We skip it - at least we skip anything that is a "sit down" meal in the morning. We bring bagels, fruit and granola bars with us and eat that in the morning and/or bring it with us to the parks, allowing us to sleep as late as possible while still getting to the park gates before they open. That extra 30-60 minutes in the morning makes a huge difference on how the day goes at the park and what you can experience.

I agree. We'd probably skip any sit down breakfast too for that very reason. We'll be perfectly happy with something quick from their continental breakfast.

Thanks! :)

The breakfast upstairs at Captian Kids isn't exactly sit down. It's buffet and it's pretty simple.

4 kinds of cereal/ 3 cold/ 1 instant oatmeal you mix with hot water
milk, juice/ oj, apple
coffee, tea
pastrys, bagels cream cheese, donuts
fruit
hard boiled eggs
I think you could easily grab a few things and eat as you walked across the street. Personally I think its worth it.

Now downstairs it is sitdown as you must order hot pancakes. I avoid doing that.

Oh, okay, so that's where their continental breakfast is. That sounds perfect and that is what we will be doing. We will avoid the pancakes too. lol
