I believe this is on Hotwire for $46 a night. Does anyone know how much the resort fee is?

I've also found the Country Inn and Suites in LBV for $49 a night. It looked like a very nice hotel when we drove by in February. Plus they have a complimentary breakfast.

I'm trying to decide between the two. Any suggestions or comments?

The resort fee is $5.00. I can't speak for everyone, but we stayed for 1 night there in June and it was wonderful. Had a disney view room and the since it was the last night of the vacation, we went shopping in Downtown Disney and then watched fireworks from Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Pleasure Island from our balcony. The Country Inn and Suites is about one traffic light away from Disney property, didn't stay there, but do know the location of it.

I thought I would bump this up. I would like to know as much as possible about BW, too. I won this hotel for next month on Priceline for $41. So far it seems like most people like it, but any additional info would be great.

We stayed there last August through Priceline as well. We had a terrific stay. Were allowed to check in early and had a room on the 6th floor facing the pool. We could see the Epcot fireworks at night (obstructed by a big tree, so we just climbed up a couple flights of stairs and it was perfect.)

The pool i snothing fancy and a bit small but was not crowded and open 24 hours I believe. The lobby has two Parrots that talk in it.

The shuttles got crowded but ran on-time to the parks and it beat paying $8 to park. However, if you have early PS arrangements for breakfast, drive. The hotel gift shop sold disney tickets including one day passes and the bouncebacks.

We joined the Best Western Preferred guest program (Gold crown i think) and although they did not accept the card at check in (as it was priceline) - i think it helped get us a room with microwave, fridge and disney view.

The resort fee was $5 and the staff was very friendly. Easy to leave to head to crossroads, etc (you could walk) or DTD.

Feel free to PM me if i can help anymore.

That sounds great! Thanks for the tip about their "gold card." I know a Priceline win won't get us points, but as you said, it might have helped with where they put you. Did you go up to the 18th floor? There is supposed to be a bar with a great view to watch the fireworks. I thought about bringing the video camera just to film the fireworks from there.

The 18th floor was closed when we were there and I heard they have closed it off now for future use, the resturaunt isn't opne....doesnt hurt to check.

A tip though, if you dont end up on a high floor or one with a disney view, the stair ways in th eback (pool side) of the building are outside (but covered), you can go up them and get a very nice veiw of the fireworks from Epcot and DTD.

We stayed there last July, for one night, for $25 on Priceline. For that price, the place was an absolute steal. For $46, it's still an incredible deal.

Our room was on the 18th floor, but a room on a lower floor might actually be preferable, since the top floor rooms lack balconies.
