Best Western Anaheim Inn OR Park Vue Inn

We are planning our first visit to Disneyland in July 2016. We are WDW vets, so I'm pretty excited about a new Disney experience. There are 4 of us and I've narrowed down our hotel choices to BW Anaheim Inn or Park Vue Inn. They're both roughly the same price, but it's going to come down to how comfortable the beds are. At Park Vue I was looking at a bunk bed room, which some reviews have said are pretty small rooms. On the other hand, I've read many reviews that said the beds at Best Western are not comfortable. We'll deal with a cramped room if we like the beds. For a point of reference, we like the beds at the moderate and deluxe resorts at Disney World, but not the beds at the values.

Or if anyone has a suggestion for a hotel with comfortable beds, please let me know. We need to have a suite or a room with bunk beds, so that limits our hotel choices. My kids will be 12 and almost 10, so they're past the age of sharing a bed. My kids are also wild sleepers, so DH and I do not want to share with them. We would really like to stay across the street from Disneyland, but we're willing to walk 10-15 minutes if we have to. We won't have a car and we don't want to take ART.

We love Park Vue Inn. Location can't be beat, rooms are clean and comfortable, free hot breakfast and free parking. The beds at Fairfield Inn and HoJo are comfortable, but PVI is much closer and offers more fort he $$ IMO.

We were quite happy with Park Vue Inn. Our last trip, we had a great deal at HoJo, but this trip, the prices were higher than we wanted so we decided to try Park Vue. I was a little worried, because the outside is very much an old motel, but they did a good job with the remodel, the beds were comfortable and after the first night of the kids getting used to the bunk bed (they are both used to full size beds at home), they loved the bed. The food was pretty good for an included breakfast, and we had a great view of the fireworks from our room (second floor). The room was a little small, but better than I was expecting after seeing that complaint on this board and others. Housekeeping did a great job (even made towel animals a couple of days, and a bow on the toilet paper roll, which my kids loved). For the price, I was definitely very happy (and we typically like nicer hotels, but cant justify it on a Disney trip when we are barely in the room)

Like others have said, PVI is a great deal (free hot breakfast and parking) and the absolute closest hotel you can get.

Well we'll be at PVI (again) in Nov. so you can see how I would vote.

The Anahem Inn has a free continental breakfast is is decent and it is right next to the crosswalk to cross Harbor Blvd to get to the parks. We like it because with the mini suites you get the couch with the pull out bed so DD14 and DS10 don't have to share a bed.

Actually there are two Best Western hotels on Harbor. The BW Anaheim is a short walk down Harbor and the BW Park Place Inn is the one next to the crosswalk and about as close as you can get to the parks.
