Best Week in October

We're looking at a 5 day stay in October either 10/17 - 10/22 or 10/24 - 10/29. I've checked a number of crowd forecast calendars and they look essentially equal in terms of crowds. Can anyone sway me to one week over another? Thanks

Both weeks are prime weeks to go to WDW! If you travel by air, I would check which week would be cheaper to fly.

We have gone in both of those weeks over the past 6 years, as our DD has a few days off of school one of those two weeks every year. It really doesn't matter which one you choose and there are not a lot of discounts available anymore. We find the weather to be very nice 80ish with just an occasional rain storm usually once or twice a trip. Wait times on MNSSHP days at MK can get lengthy and extra FP+ is almost nonexistent on other days the crowds are huge at the MK because everyone wants to stay for the night time events. F & W is great just avoid the weekends if you can, but we have gone later in the day and it's crowded and the lines look long but they really do move fast. In 6 years, I have yet to see a stumbling drunk and we attend 3 days per trip. I don't doubt that it happens I just don't think it's quite as prevalent as some would have you believe. Overall we really enjoy going in Oct. Have a great time.

This past year I went 10/25-10/31 the crowd calendar was wrong: stating minimal crowds. It was awfully busy compared to the "suggested crowd level". Once I returned home I looked on disboards and there were plenty boards stating how wrong the crowd calendar was for September/October. But October was a pretty time to go and pleasant as far as the temperatures in Florida.

We went 10/15-10/21 last year and it was really nice. No rain, minimal crowds except the 19th. Make a wish was at MK that day. Several days we were able to do 6-8 FP+ for 4 people.

We used to go Oct. 28th through Nov. 6th. Weather always beautiful... MNSSHP Halloween amazing! Best time! Have fun planning!
