What's the best week to go in October? And by best I mean chance of a discount, low crowds, and good weather. What we want every week of the year, right?

What's the best week to go in October? And by best I mean chance of a discount, low crowds, and good weather. What we want every week of the year, right?

The third week of October 2014 had fantastic weather (I would call it perfect), the room rates were lower than earlier in the month, it had a room discount and free dining started up on Oct 26th. (It had ended on Oct 3rd, 2014.) The middle of October was blacked out for discounts, and the room rates were high.

The crowds were moderate I thought.

We liked that week of October so much that we decided to return again this upcoming October.

We really enjoyed the last week of Oct last year. Good weather and fairly low crowds.

Definitely avoid the weekend of Columbus Day, and the week after.
