Best WDW resort for pin trading

Just wondering if there is a resort that is better for pin trading then others. We have reservations at different resorts for dinner. Am I correct when I read that there are no pin trading events? What about Downtown Disney...Do they still have a pin trading time? Thanks

People trade infront of DTD alot at the Pin Station, however it's not organized like at the resorts. They do offer pin trading from a book in World Of Disney's Watch/Pin room, at 2:30 and 7pm I believe, someone maybe can confirm?

You will not see lanyards on check in cast, but managers walking around may have lanyards.

Please note that as of last month, Disney stopped the Pin trading events that were held in the resorts (All Star Sports on Thursdays, Contemporary on Fridays). The only "formal" guest pin trading is outside of Pin Traders at DTD and it is not sponsored by Disney.
