We always go resort hopping on our first day to check out all the decorations. Each resort is worth seeing. We like to do a monorail loop to check out CR, Poly, and GF. You also want to check out the decor at the Epcot resorts and at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I have worked w/wedding and party decor for years, but nothing compares w/ what Disney does for Xmas. When I first walked into the GF, I actually teared up because I was so overwhelmed. The pastry chefs at each resort also do a gingerbread display in their lobbies that are unbelievable. Don't miss the giant gingerbread Victorian at GF. Also, the Dolphin had the largest tree I've ever seen in their lobby last year. Not to be missed w/ a train on a track that circled it. It is really worth seeing what they each have, but I'd agree that the Wilderness Lodge is the most Xmassy at that time of year. You won't be disappointed w/ the decor no matter where you stay.
