(Best) WDW Car Rental Options

On Friday, December 18 we check out of the VGF at 11 AM.
I need to drive to Miami with a rental car. I hope to arrive by 4 PM.

I plan to rent the car once I depart from the Grand Floridian. What is my best option?

1. Take Uber or Lyft to the nearest Hertz (we have gold membership)
7471 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747
It is about 20 minutes/ 10 miles

2. Take the DME to MCO and rent a car from there

3. Something else entirely

Perhaps I found something...
National has a location at Shades of Green - across from the VGF. It is slightly more expensive than Hertz, but I will save time and money as it is an easy walk from my hotel.

What do you think? Will this plan work?

Alamo/National has a rental location at the Car Care Center. That location has a shuttle that will pick you up.
