Best ways to book villas for non-DVC members?

Hey all,

Am looking at the option of booking one of the deluxe DVC villas, although I'm not a DVC member (interested to know if many UK folks ever join up to DVC).

How have any of you gone about securing a booking for these villas?

I haven't booked a DVC villa, although I believe you can book them through the CRO number for Disney US. (I don't think it can be booked through the UK disney site - but I might be wrong!!)

I have just sent my paperwork back, so will soon be a fully fledged DVC member at Bay Lake Towers and Animal Kingdom Lodge - hopefully it will all be sorted by the end of the month!! SO excited!!

You can book OKW and SSR through Disney UK at the moment for both this year and next - they are doing an offer with about 40% off.

Alternatively, the most cost effective way would be to rent points from a DVC member who would make reservation on your behalf. There is a specific board for this under the DVC section of the forum which has plenty of info about this.

Many UK people are DVC members - I think we make up the 2nd largest group after the US.
